Well, you know what it is. But in case you didn't, here's a new damn Savageheads record. This was announced sometime ago on the Social Napalm & Sorry State ig but I think I heard in passing at a point before that despite the inactivity, these guys were probably going to release something. Honestly, I feel like you can always expect surprises from Boston, you never know if those staple bands from 2000s/10s officially close curtains, so every once in a while you'll see them on a random local gig or a gig SOMEWHERE (saw them in Philadelphia a couple months ago and they rocked it!). That being said I'm sure a record release show is to follow at some point, most likely in Boston. But until then, next gig I saw is New York in November with The Trouble, don't forget!
But yeah this thing is a heater of course, continuing their UK-82 punk sound with hooks and solid riffs. There's a couple re-recorded tracks too! I think 8 years is more than enough time to make an amazing record. Also in Boston fashion I noticed a lot of these bands don't release much else after their debut LP, so you might wanna scoop this one... who knows. Check it out
