Author John McNee never set out to write a horror novel about Christmas or Santa Claus. He wanted to write a Slenderman novel and put his mind to coming up with a character who would perfectly embody the perfect Slenderman monster he sought to recreate. Then he realized his Slenderman had been there along in the form of Santa Clause. Listen in as McNee explains his reasoning, and why the man who knows when you're asleep may be much more than you thought him to be.
