With the Orders API, you can build web and mobile applications that use orders to manage purchase item information, track order fulfillment, integrate customer data, and link payments. You can also create fulfillment orders and send them to the Square Point of Sale (POS) application for fulfillment. Creating fulfillment Orders is how you integrate with Square Order Manager. Order Manager is a UI tool that sellers can use to manage the lifecycle of orders that come into their store using the web dashboard or Square POS.

We show you an example of an order-ahead application that integrates with Order Manager and what API calls you would need to use to integrate this with your own application.
