Captain Zach Truong took our team fishing off New Smyrna Beach after ICAST 2019. Our boys got hooked up with this eight-foot sandbar shark while going for red snapper. The shark put quite the bend on a custom built RainShadow Revelation REVSU80M. Not the rod we’d recommend for sharks, but it held up. Zach, James and Geoff tag teamed the shark and got it to the boat safely for release.
