After watching my review, you will know how to pick the best gaming monitor.
Please notice that Samsung offers several variations of this display, in my case I tested the version that has AMD FreeSync but there are also NVIDIA G-Sync versions available.
The display offers multiple inputs such as 1x HDMI and 2x Display Port. The design and cable routing of this monitor is very sleek. In addition, you have the option to enable a blue light on the back of the monitor.
Keep in mind that such a massive 49-inch monitor needs a modern PC, with a reasonably fast GPU.
For testing, I played "Rise of the Tomb Raider” on a system with 48GB of RAM, 6 Core Xeon CPU, and a Radeon RX580 graphics card.
Essentially this Super Wide is equal to running 2x 27” Inch displays side by side, natural it will need more computing power.
The height adjustability is very smooth, but since the monitor is massive you will also need a spacious desk, otherwise, your speakers may disappear behind the monitor, like in my case.
Overall, I think this is a wonderful monitor for gamers, but for the home office, I would always prefer an IPS Panel.
