I want to learn how to do that dance
For the second time I had the idea to use it as a ytpmv sample but just like last time I ran into the snag of there also being music. Thankfully, UltiVoxRmvr exists.
What clean audio does to a motherfucker
"Why, I'm as fit as a fiddle!"
"(kek) A _bass_ fiddle!"
Had the marvelous idea to sample this around last week, after watching it with the family the week prior. All instruments featured were isolated, and both instruments played 5 scale degrees, as I recalled. I was close.
The violin plays 5 major scale degrees, but also, because of the playing, there's one instance of harmonics as well.
Unfortunately, from how the fade was done, a number of the cello's notes have violin "artifacts", including the only instances of F and C being played on it. Luckily, once it's gotten to the C the violin already isn't that noticeable, sounding more like a scraping of the bow on the cello.
In my drive file I may have gotten the octave numbers wrong (going by FL rules there, btw), but it serves to say whether it's above or below other notes.
My first attempt at uploading this didn't go so well. Made using a semi-official MIDI as reference.
Just noticed that Cliffjumper's hands sync up with the beeping at the start. That's actually by complete coincidence.
Made by lining up all the original sound effects to where they play in the original video's audio (including panning/pitch bend), then adding in the new music (to be found here: soundcloud.com/tahutoa/lewwhk-doahmmie-weeeuhr-maeelting). Said music I re-did the mixing for especially for this video. It has what I believe is the right amount/kind of reverb used during this scene, AND I did some stuff with Audacity to make it 32,000Hz 16-Bit PCM, just like the N64's audio output.
I missed some of Ganon's Horse's hoof scrape sounds, apparently, but I need to free up hard drive space, and honestly I don't know if anyone will care, especially since the problem is only within that first camera angle.
At the end of the day it wasn't a waste of time, though, because it was practice for masking-- which I was sneaky with, by the way. One of the layers moves all over the place over the course of one second. Another lasts for only one frame. The grass I got from the singular frame where JFK's car is completely off the ground.
ih no i forgot to add a watermark.

Originally I was just going to add the music and call it, but redoing the soundscape myself was just too tempting an opportunity to pass up on.
Thank you to RarewareArchives, who uploaded the commercial without the bar at the bottom. It *is* likely they just took the video WITH said black bar and cropped it out, but I'd like to think it actually is the full frame.
I *almost* uploaded this without a watermark before I caught myself, and remembered it's mighty dark with all the evil about. If anyone even sees this video, it's sure to get blurred out, then a new watermark will be placed over the blur, extra watermarks, etc., etc., until there's too many watermarks for ape to handle :((
Thank you to skyyn3t on Reddit for directing me to the moment in question.

I literally made a Cue Sheet for this video musescore.com/tahutoa/episode-2-cue-sheet-living-with-wario.
First I used Moises AI to separate the vocals from the instrumental. Then after I created the sheet music I exported it to MIDI. Then, I remade the SFX using Wario Land 4's sfx patches & did an arrangement of the song, and using a bunch of different effects made WAAAhrio sound like his voice clips came from the GBA.
And THEN I did some color correction to make Wario look more like his in-game sprite, and resized the image to be the GBA's resolution. I exported it in three sections, converted them to GIF, each of which I set to have only 45 colors (since GBA sprites usually use 15, and here it's like: Wario, Castle, BG). Then I converted those BACK into mp4's, re-imported into Vegas, and made everything line up. So, now, here we are. AH, AH, HA.
Uploading this for when Stamps's twitter inevitably gets nuked again, eventually. ...Wahey, I went to look for the upload date and wouldn't you know it's already been deleted.
wait does this mean cool whip's been around since before 1966, whoa
Primarily a cover of Blizzy Mez's arrangement. I did cover one particularly cool-sounding bit from the official track, though.
i recorded the lines themselves a while ago but I wanted to wait to do anything with them until I had gotten a good enough facsimile of the Old Audio sound.
better run, better run, outrun my guns
That rat over there, with the pumped up bear he'd
better run, better run, faster than my shoulder
A cover I started in 2018 and didn't get anything beyond the intro done until January 31st of this year, at which point I finished the entire rest of the song.
Speaking of, if the audio's little messups (i hate yt) are too annoying, you can listen to the SC upload here: soundcloud.com/tahutoa/pumped-up-stuffed-bear
Fantabulous artwork is by Charger342. I asked him to make Wario, Shokora, and Scienstein in the style of FtP's "Remix EP" album cover.
I did all the screen bouncing and stuff by hand, so sorry if it looks kind of lousy or messes up at points.
This edit is really kind of shit bc the red blade kept interfering with Color Corrector Secondary but it gets the job done. Also, the blade is Return of the Jedi green and not Prequel Trilogy green because FUCK that, love me that almost jade-ass lookin' blade. plus it's closer to how the toy looks so i would've needed to do that anyway :-Y
The original's not gone, granted, but I haven't seen a YT upload anywhere.
Now, since it's been something like 6 years (Christ, has it really), I had to feel around for getting a decent recording of GBA audio again. My first two recordings kept cocking up the output, so I knew I needed to change the settings for my Bandicam. When I saw it under Output Settings, I had the idea to enable "also save audio as .wav". Don't know if that was what made it sound good or if it was the changes I made to my video settings, but the end result sounds exactly the same as it does in-game, so I'm not complaining.
Also, it's really cool to hear a new song from this game for the first time since originally recording its OST half a decade ago.
I know it's been like over a year already, but I'm finally posting a demonstration video for it on YT (a la iteachvader)

Yeah, I tried uploading just the original incarnation of the video to YT yesterday, but Disney took it down within a literal minute of my posting it.

This song is apparently so infectious that even my brother, who hates everything that I like/partake in the enjoyment of pretty much, was humming it during a Steam Call. I tried to tell him that was the third level's theme and not the first, but he's an idiot who never gives on anything EVER, so I eventually just came off it, if I recall correctly.
Also, like, seriously for FUCK'S SAKE where's my HD RE-RELeASE of the SOUNDtrack, it's literally a FEW DAYS FROM BEING the 20TH ANNIVERSARY of the 20TH ANNIVERSARY, and STILL NOTHING.

That's right baby, the dream's still alive. Oh, oops, I accidentally made a relevant pun. Anyways. I actually had this project in my files since March. I started out by making everything up to when the Pan Flute starts, just without the pan flute; so, I had the "Woh'we'woh'weh?", and the main drums, plus the Claves that kick in at the same time as the Pan Flute. AND THAT'S HOW IT WAS, up until the 10th, when I finally started working on it again. I finished it the day after that, and then for whatever reason I've been procrastinating on the actual upload.
