Welcome to another episode of Seminary Teachers Helping Seminary Teachers! We have reached February—the time of the semester that can sometimes feel like "quicksand." But don't worry, this week’s pacing offers a chance to catch up and breathe as we focus on a single, powerful chapter: Moses 6.
In this episode, we explore:
• Doctrinal Mastery: Creative ideas (from AI escape rooms to "healthy" Kahoots) to help students connect with scripture phrases rather than just memorizing them.
• The Toolbox Analogy: How to teach scripture study skills—like making comparisons—without letting the method get in the way of conversion.
• The Youth Theme: A deep dive into Moses 6:34 and Enoch’s journey from feeling like a "lad" who is "slow of speech" to a prophet who walks with God.
• The Rest of the Story: How Moses 6 finishes the narrative of Adam and Eve by introducing the solution to the Fall: The Doctrine of Christ, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Ghost.
