The images weren't, but this is otherwise a genuine time capsule of my timeline from 2021 Twitter, long before Elon Musk massacred it into "X" and suspended my account for not being far-right. I figured it would be neat to preserve this in video format, complete with Windows Movie Maker aging effects & music from a movie everyone hates.You can even see the date change as soon as I connect back online, after which Twitter then forces me to update to "X" to continue viewing.

The assignment was to make a fake title sequence for a movie. I was kind of hyperfixated on the Short Circuit movies at the time and chose a hypothetical third film as the subject. All footage was filmed in the classroom, using printed fake newspapers & magazines and photo frames with footage from the first two movies greenscreened in.

IIRC i did release this demo at some point, but it's likely buried in the depths of MarioBoards. Regardless nothing further was ever developed after this point. It should be easy to see why lol.At 1:16 you can hear a home phone ringing and then an answering machine. This was because I was literally still living with my mom at the time and was recording this while she was asleep. On top of that, I didn't even know how to record my screen without also recording the laptop's built in mic, so that's why you can hear that background noise in addition to the keyboard being used to control the game.This isn't even my earliest RPG Maker project btw. My absolute earliest is likely unrecoverable because it was on my mom's desktop which IDK if she even still has. But there is a 2013 one that MAY be recoverable. I remember it being a lot more fleshed out in terms of content, but the content itself was about on the same level as this lol. If I find it I might try to do a video or stream where I play and react to it.

VHS recording: Super Mario Galaxy gameplay circa 2008, part 3 Dark Fawfulthegreat64 2023-08-21 | Not me finally getting around to recording another hour off this VHS tape two years after I posted the first two parts 💀This gameplay was recorded to a blank VHS tape as I played the game, possibly for the first time, in I believe 2008. Might have been late 2007 but since I don't know how to find the recording date, I'm guessing 2008 since I didn't get a Wii right when the game was brand new.Nothing is cut out, so expect a lot of deaths.I'm pretty sure I was doing two different playthroughs concurrently, one at my mom's place during summer & spring breaks (which would be where this was recorded), and the other at a friend's house during the rest of the year.
