Discovered being able to Guard Counter off of parries in this run which makes Executor insanely better than I already thought.

The strategy employed was mainly going for as many Compound Bosses as possible, picking up each flask charge on the map and then clearing at least 1 of the harder overworld bosses that show on the map in the second day, this alongside a bit of luck seems to be a winning strategy.

==Notes for fighting Lore== Opening jump attack punishes: Greatsword: dodge to the left and then towards R1,R1 trying to stay in front of him is important because he can otherwise dodge out of the R1,R1 punish.
Dual Blades: run to the left R2 Dodge R2,R2 Allows the most hits as an opener by doing R2 Dodge R2,R2 or any similar variation. This is also a lesser option for Greatsword as it doesn't allow you to setup the stun combo as fast however you still can interrupt with L2+R1.
Longsword: run to the right L2+R1 Allows you to interrupt the second hit and build 2 hits for stunning after.
Phase 1 Strings: All of his strings can be beaten with well timed dodges and generally I prefer dodging to the left however most of his swipes have lingering hitboxes meaning ones that swing from right to left may catch you such as his backstep swipe. Interrupting/Punishing overhead swings: Any time Lore does an overhead swing in strings whether as a 2nd or final hit (although more consistently on final hits), there is a chance to stun him early, this will reset your stun setup and because of its inconsistency can be quite hard to optimally combo out of.
Phase 2 Strings: Most of his Phase 2 attacks can be easily avoided by running (most notably usable vs the 3 dashes) or dodging backwards.
==Stun Setups/Combos==
General Notes on stun buildup Stunning always has a chance to not occur even within the most consistent setups whether due to mistimed attacks, boss attacks with armor, or other factors I am unaware of, do keep this in mind.
Although stunning can be quite inconsistent in this game, there are typically safe ways to exploit it in the event of unsurity alongside stronger options.
Additionally when getting guaranteed hits after stun do keep in mind that these hits do NOT contribute to more stun buildup, so for Greatsword doing R1,R1 while they are stunned will not mean you only need to do R1,R1 again to stun.
In the case of Lore stun does NOT carry over between phases.
Greatsword: R1 and R2 contribute to stun buildup, R2-HOLD and L2+R2 do not, being aware of this allows the player to setup various combos such as doing R1,R1,R1 to setup a stun and then using L2+R1 before landing a 4th R1 to cause a stun guaranteeing an R2-HOLD. Stun Setups 4x R1 (or R1,R1,R1,R1) 3x R2 (or R2,R2,R2) Important to note: any mixing of R2 and R1 together will result in always needing 4 hits to stun based on my testing.
Combos After Stun Setups: These are the guaranteed follow ups you can get after a hit that stuns, the first R1 in each of these strings is the hit that stunned Lore, and assume that you have set up 3 hits prior: L2+R1,L2+R1,L2+R1,R1,R2-HOLD R1,R2-HOLD R1,R1,R2 This final combo is also good in any situation where you are unsure of the stun buildup as it can be done on reaction to a stun.
Dual Blades: Dual Blades do not have similar setups to Greatsword as both L2+R1 and R2-HOLD contribute to stun buildup, however you can still potentially optimize stun combos but it doesn't really feel necessary as you can just mash a lot of attacks regardless. Stun Setups 8x R1 (or R1,R1,R1,R1,R1,R1,R1,R1) 8x R2 (or R2,R2,R2,R2,R2,R2,R2,R2)
Combos The first R1 in each of these strings is the hit that stunned Lore Since combos are generally harder to do since stun buildup is harder to keep track of I recommend doing the following: R1,R2 This allows you to on reaction use R2-HOLD in the event that R1 stuns, otherwise you can just let go early and get a 2 hit punish.
Long Sword: Blader Longsword L2+R1 functions in an interesting way where it is similar to Blader Greatsword L2+R1 but the first 2 strikes contribute to stun buildup, meaning you can punish several times with L2+R1,R1 as a mini combo before getting a full stun combo. Stun Setups 6x R1 (or R1,R1,R1,R1,R1,R1) 5x R2 (or R2,R2,R2,R2,R2) 3x R2-HOLD (or R2-HOLD,R2-HOLD,R2-HOLD) L2+R1,R1,R1,R1,R1 2x L2+R1,R1,R1 (or L2+R1,L2+R1,R1,R1) 2x L2+R1,R2,R2 (or L2+R1,L2=R1,R2,R2) 2x L2+R1,R2-HOLD,R1 (L2+R1,L2+R1,R2-HOLD,R1) Combos L2+R1,R1 After stun setups: The first R1 in each of these strings is the hit that stunned Lore R1,R1,R1,R1「Reina」- Tekken 8 Combo ExhibitionKawao2025-03-26 | Credits
