Gaomon let me know that for protection of the tablet during travel from them to Amazon to you, they pre-install a gift film. (Aka it goes protective film, Gift film, screen. They've changed their labeling to address this but they can't update the stock already at Amazon.) You know how Wacom lets you buy different "grit" films to put on top of the screen to either feel smooth or like paper? I would rate this around the medium zone. If it bothers your workflow you can take that film off also, but I wouldn't recommend it personally because then you'd be drawing straight on the screen (and that's a yikes chief.) I didn't notice it anymore after drawing for a bit and stuff like this is kinda normal. As a victim of sexual assault, I, along with Christon Tan, created a short music video bringing awareness to those struggling with trauma. Our short is not intended to say that it’s easy nor that going to a therapist alone will be the magic cure as could easily be said. Healing comes from within, and a part of healing is recognizing what happened and knowing you aren’t to blame. Our short is intended to give those dealing with sexual violence PTSD a reminder to breathe, that it’s okay to take one step at a time and to illustrate that PTSD is an internal struggle. This short is intended both for those unaffected as a narrative to understand the internal struggle to be empathetic and for those dealing with PTSD to give them a mantra. You are not alone, it's not your fault, you are loved, you are deserving, breathe. Heck, we were friends for a year until he finally said yes :P. But on a serious note, we're still growing, together, as people. And although our souls are intertwined, there's a long road ahead of us. That being said, it's up to us and how we move on to shape our own future and make our own little islands through nurturing the growing sprout. Prove It |Animated Short| .: STATE FINALIST :. splashamantha 2017-01-09 | *Y'all I love ya, but this is a film I wrote no story for for a grade in a high school class. I uploaded it in order to preserve it for a later date to show myself and others how much I've grown story wise, character design wise, and so on. Thank you, I guess for your critiques, but I know she touched the rock (at time stamp) and I know its cliche and I know there are a thousand holes. But this video meant alot to me in what I learned and how far I've grown since then. I hate turning off comments, but it's just a lil draining to see off comments about holes I know filling my inbox, and "who'd she fuck" comments over a minor through most of the video. I understand some of my discomfort is unwarranted and due to a biased love for the character and nuetral liking of this video, but its enough that I don't really want to see it. Now although this differs in this case cause she isn't a human, and is fictional, stories are meant to symbolize grander problems, in unfortunately a short amount of time. Alot of people feel they are treated differently for problems that make them differ from the norm. We unfortunately are seeing that today with race, gender, and sexuality. And although this is a grander explanation to a dumb Youtube comment jab, its something. So if you feel its rude to liken a fictional unicorn to a human, then imagine a horse. A horse is still it's combined parents breed even if their are changes in it. Obviously a unicorn without a horn is more jarring, but in this universe unicorns have different constitutions, body type, tail type, and civilization. So though this is a long explanation and oddly a social conversation topic, it's an important thing to keep in mind when you are analyzing the world around you and also the films you watch. NOT because of a dumb Youtube video on a dumb site, but because the world is constantly differing in opinion and you have to listen to every side and understand to build your own outlook. Films are such an amazing source of media our kind has created, entertainment that also hits home in emotional (Pixar) or political way. Story time!It's between one character, a normal girl who keeps getting toyed with via a siren lady, and the latter. In my book (as you can see with Splash) I use sirens to symbolize intense emotions, whether is be fear, anger, or yes the ever so traditional love. This girl keeps getting bombarded in her regular life with these intense emotions she eventually gets overcome by them, becoming so over run with these strong emotions she becomes a siren herself.Wow I'm edgy.Now that that's done, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!! Goodbye Rooney splashamantha 2016-05-17 | She was the sweetest little filly, and now she's gone. Not only was she sweet, but she was stubborn. She completely fractured her hip last Friday by being stubborn, she didn't like her halter. Sometimes, accidents happen, when young horses throw a temper tantrum but don't understand thier own power, there was nothing I could do yet i still feel like it's my fault.We tried for surgery, but she was so young, that every month she would grow and the screw would pop loose, making her unable to walk and lame.
