TJIRC Mini Q glider on the slopes airshow65 2022-06-04 | TJIRC Mini Q glider on the slopes in Denmark. Good wind, but with a little angle in on the hill. Both models in the video has about 120 gram of ballast (selfmade). It really comes alive with the extra weight and has much more energy and is notably faster than without it.The model is very responsive and fun to fly.

Pick micro rc-glider airshow65 2019-05-05 | The first fligts with our new Pick micro-gliders in Denmark. Crabon moulded with 2,4Mhz-friendly nose. 810mm wingspan. Weight from 140 to 300 grams. It's really fast with good zoom in good condititons where 100g of ballast is used, but it can also fly in very light condititons without ballast. A fun plane to fly.

Manny close calls, one hit in the wing of the big glider and one direct hit in the nose. That hit generated so much g-force that the camera stopped filming. Probably the start/stop-button was pressed in. Fun flying! The video was shot at Pellestova, Hafjell. Both camera and glider live to fly another day.

Perhaps is the Tummelisa the most well known and successful aircraft designed and built by FVM (Flygkompaniets Tygverkstäder på Malmen). At least, all of the 29 aircraft built 1920-1933 served during all years without any fatal accident. This single-seat aircraft was designed by Henry Kjellson, the father of many early Swedish aircraft. The aeroplane was given the name Tummeliten (Little Tom Thumb), but the pilots preferred to call it Tummelisa, the name of Toms female counterpart.
