Some of the vehicles I could identify were Ford 245F Bedford, Renault, 2 door Morris minor 1960's, Rare Rambler Country 1966 station wagon, VW van kombi, Valliant, Holden Belmont ute, Dodge Brothers Truck, Humber, Land Rover, Celica LT, Subaru Leone, Tractor, Fowlers Tow Truck, even a Bull Dozer. Many vintage trucks and cars that I couldn't identify. So much of the 20th Century is show cased in this museumOnce the residence of a musician artist, this time capsule was developed as a public museum, with the artist collecting everything from the 20th Century. 1916 Italian Architecture | NOT ABANDONED | Sacred Heart Church Presbytery being renovated Pocket Watch 2024-06-05 | Permission was obtained to explore this two storey building for you all, to enable me to document its features and the renovations that are taking place. Stunning coloured stain glass leadlight panels and windows throughout the building on solid wooden doors with decorative arch glass above the doors frame. Terracotta hipped roof with open arched colonnades surrounding the Building. Beautiful wooden staircase with turned wood balustrades. Decorative ornate coloured fireplaces, stunning leadlight stained glass crosses throughout, plus many more features making this place just an awesome explore and a wonderful piece of South Australian architectural historyHeritage number 27657 interim date 12th September 2017 under section 23* Father Santosh wishes for the Adelaide Urbex community to spread the word that the premises are NOT AVAIALBLE for exploring. They would also like help in raising the funds to paint the building.This is one of a handful of two storey buildings in the area of Hindmarsh from when the area was developed in 1836. Next to this is the Hindmarsh Institute which was the center of the towns community activities in it's Hall.The 1916 architects were Messrs Woods, Bagot, Jory & Laybourne Smith. Originally known as MSC - Missionaries of the Sacred Heart Presbytery this building has been in use since it was completed, the heart of church administration and residence for the priests. The Church next to it was built in 1924 and known as St. Saviour's Church Hindmarsh. In 1950 St Saviour’s Church Hindmarsh was renamed and dedicated as Sacred Heart Church.MSC leadership of the Parish, which was given to the MSCs in 1914, however was handed back to the Archdiocese of Adelaide in 2019 due to aging and dwelling resources.The renovations include of elevator, partitioned walls, changing of doorways and walls, and so much more, check the video out to see first hand what is happening to bring this building into service for the 21st century and beyond.#Urbex #ExploreAustralia

Over 100 years of use with the only modern alteration to the building a false ceiling and office area when you first walk in at the entrance, and flushing toilets'Beautiful arched windows, fluted metal column construction with massive riveted metal beams on lower levels and solid timber construction in the upper levels. Stunning 1948 Art Deco Waterfall Style Mini Mansion | Abandoned to be demolished Pocket Watch 2024-03-26 | Amazing home built by J Torresan whose family lived in the home for over 70 years. The front gate has the initials in irons work of GT. Gino Torresan and wife Flora started making boutique wine in 1958 and lived their with their sons. They built up a packaging and wine business which continues today as a successful family business Torresan Estate. Gino died in 2000 and Flora in 2017. The house was on a large block of land which adjoined it and was all sold in 2022. Then the house became abandoned while the huge block of land had 10 small independent living houses built on it as a small housing estate. We continue our explore of the out buildings on this 1800's farm homestead. This building was possibly the servants quarters. The 1898 Giffhorn No1 Simpson Adelaide Manufactured enamel and porcelain wood oven and cooker with the wood still piled next to it, to the old kerosene stove top cooker with the kettle still in place with a smaller camp cooker on the bottom shelf of it. A Freezolux Fridge Kerosene oil Fuel by Electrolux 1940's to the books the person read, and the bug sprayer and bottles they drank out of all left in situ as a monument to the era they are from.
