Braylins Story - 2023 Childrens Miracle Network Champion UC Davis Health 2023-03-06 | Braylin McMullen is the 2023 Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at UC Davis Children’s Hospital Champion. Her health journey began when she contracted E. coli when she was 3 years old. The bacteria damaged Braylin’s internal organs, requiring surgery. She was also diagnosed with end-stage renal disease and Type 1 diabetes. Braylin had more than a year of dialysis and then underwent a kidney transplant operation at the UC Davis Children’s Surgery Center.
