Thank you to everyone who watched my video to help me win it and to Imogen for being such a good sport. I tried to add a slightly more glamorous award-show look with strong but not overly theatrical eye makeup, a dab of lip gloss and an Elvis up-do jazzed up with blue glitter streaks. Adam is the owner of the other glove in the pair and it'll be my mission when he comes to the UK to reunite the gloves in the sparkliest high-five ever. As you can see, my glove is adorned with jewels and riches but it doesn't mean anything unless it feels connected with glove. Thanks to Imogen for agreeing to be filmed singing Whataya Want From Me? and for unlimited patience. I did the hair/makeup/filming/directing/editing and hope you like it. It took a lot of work to edit, joining together over 60 pieces. We included details such as lip freckles, iris flecks, the tongue at the highest note and the hairdos. We tried our best to make this as expressive as possible with six different sets of eyes. Hope you enjoy it! This video is made up of 51 cuttings and took hours of watching each available video to make sure I got the best footage for each movement. It's about twice as long as any concert video so ended up taking much longer. It was hard to decide between movement/picture quality/angle/where to cut, but my goal was to try to enhance the feeling that the performance generated. For me, it was a stoned, sensual, slow burn. That's one reason why I didn't always use the best quality footage that was available. For example, I think it breaks the mood when we can clearly see Adam fiddling with his earpiece. I left out the crotch-touch, deciding to focus on his facial expressions which I thought were much more erotic. There are a few close-ups of his face moaning in pleasure, where I used a warping effect to try to evoke a dream-like psychedelic feel, a trippy fantasy. Hope you like the result!
