Today we've got a 2021 Ford F150 here in the shop. And we're showing you how to swap out those dim, dingy halogen headlights with our CREE XHP 70.2 MK5 LED Headlight system. This system is going to greatly improve your driving experience and your Ford F150 is going to give you a much greater range of light as far as width, and it's also going to improve the clarity of what you're seeing where that light hits. So even in that short term range, where that factory halogens can reach using these LEDs, you're going to be able to much better see what is in that area. So it's going to greatly improve your driving experience and performance in those early mornings, late evenings, and of course at night as well. Plus, it's going to make you and your family safer because other traffic is going to be able to better notice and see your truck.The F150LEDs.com MK5 headlight system is the culmination of years of product research and design. We've opted to go with a CREE XHP series LED. They're either equipped in a quad XHP50 system or a dual XHP70 system. Now these XHP70 LEDs are rated at four to 4,500 lumen output alone. So you're going to be really cranking out some light somewhere in the ballpark of 9,000 raw lumen capability here per headlight.Now these lights are equipped with a copper PCB heat sink to distribute that heat, plus an extra-large heat dissipation fan on the back of our MK5s. This is a prior generation MK3 headlight, and you can see the difference in the heat dissipation systems that we've equipped. We've done this so that we can utilize the extra power in the LEDs of the XHP line. These LEDs are made through the highest of standards to withstand all weather conditions and extreme temperature conditions. They're constructed out of aircraft grade Aluminum 6063, and are a fully enclosed system. Meaning that depending on your model year F150, we include the necessary custom grommets to maximize the airflow within your headlight system, without compromising weather durability.-- Installation steps removed --Okay guys, that's all there is to getting our MK5 LED headlights installed here on your 21 and up Ford F150 series truck.
