For Dutch soccer player Ryan Babel, it was a critically acclaimed title, which inspired the pro athlete to take on a second career off the field.
“The first book that I read where I got that ‘aha’ moment was The ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ book from Robert Kiyosaki,” he told LinkedIn News senior editor Joseph Milord.
“And that laid me on the right path in understanding, ‘okay, so I have to focus on real estate first before I want to try and find myself into different spaces.’”
Today, Ryan is not only an athlete, but also a music producer and real estate investor.
