Hit and Run? Didnt get far...CS_Dashcam2026-09-19 | Hit and Run? Didnt get far...Maybe not the best place to park...CS_Dashcam2025-08-09 | I wondered when I first saw the truck what it was doing in a residential neighborhood with only two-lane roads. Apparently, they didn't know either. Unfortunately, I had places to be and there were cars lining up behind me (there isn't even a stop sign for my lane at that intersection), so I took off as soon as I was able. No idea if they ever found their way out. Camera VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)A Day for LessonsCS_Dashcam2025-07-22 | Lesson 1: Always look before merging into the faster lane. Lesson 2: When merging into the fast lane, GO FASTER. Otherwise, just panic and get out of the way, I guess? Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Welcome to HoustonCS_Dashcam2025-07-21 | Apparently the rest of us were going too slow for this bunch (I was, in fact, doing the speed limit). And even this was pretty mild by Houston standards. I hate city driving. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)A Fight and an Idiot in One VideoCS_Dashcam2025-07-20 | First, a Camaro that didn't seem to notice approaching traffic, then decided to almost fight about it. Then, unprovoked, an idiot who feels that not only are the rest of us too slow for him, but he almost missed his exit. Can't have that! Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)In the DitchCS_Dashcam2025-06-23 | At first I thought he had not been watching traffic slow down (although it slows down there literally every day, the rain just made it worse), and had to veer off to avoid a collision. But on watching the footage, I think the car _behind_ him was on the collision course, and he veered into the grass to avoid being hit _from behind_ . Of course the car that almost hit him just kept going like nothing had happened. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Somebodys in a Hurry IIICS_Dashcam2025-06-23 | Pretty sure passing on the ramp is illegal. Also, he didn't have the wherewithal to look beyond the car directly in front of him to realize that I was slowing down for a reason. Also, the traffic at the light where he got off was worse than the slowdown on the freeway, it actually cleared up very quickly. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)We get these all over the place hereCS_Dashcam2025-06-22 | It's Texas after all, it's one of our official state animals. He was still trying to cross the road after I passed, but I didn't see him again, so I guess he eventually made it all the way across safely. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Just a Light BumpCS_Dashcam2025-05-28 | It was only a matter of time before I caught one on camera, I suppose. Traffic wasn't moving that fast, so they were able to _mostly_ avoid the collision, but there was still contact. You can see the BMW driver put on their hazards. I know from experience that even light cosmetic damage can still be expensive to repair. In hindsight, maybe I could have beeped or something to try to get the driver's attention, but in the moment it just sort of happened. Ten bucks says they were looking at their phone. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (Front, Rear)A Red What Now?CS_Dashcam2025-05-28 | Caught this one coming back from the drug store. There was a full three seconds between the red light and his entering the intersection. Glad I didn't start going immediately, he seemed completely oblivious. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (Front, Rear)Had to Happen Some Time (Close Call)CS_Dashcam2025-03-12 | This happens way more often than it should, people just moving straight over from the ramp to the fast lane without checking to see if anyone's already there. First time I've caught it on camera, though. He was completely oblivious to the horn, and didn't seem to notice I was there until I was mostly past him. I'm sure he would have noticed if I'd let him hit me, of course, and scratched his purdy truck. You can see him telling me that I was number one at the end there, but by that time I'd already told him the same. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear) VBR-8489Somebodys in a Hurry IICS_Dashcam2025-03-10 | ... And has a very small d**k. I mean, look at that thing. No work truck looks like that. Or gets driven like that. I was in the slow lane, and not even going that slow. Not fast enough for somebody, apparently. Had to fiddle with the sound to avoid any copyright issues. I don't drive without my music. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Somebodys in a Hurry ICS_Dashcam2025-03-09 | You can see in the rearview that he wasn't going that fast to begin with, then decided all of a sudden that he wanted to get somewhere at like 100mph. It happened pretty quick, and he was coming up behind us at the same time that the guy in front of me was moving over. It occurred to me in the moment that I just might catch a wreck on the camera, but thankfully that didn't happen. Bonus clip of a truck dropping a pipe at the end, barely a minute after the first clip was taken. Nobody hit it, but the sparks were pretty. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)No Idea What This Guy was ThinkingCS_Dashcam2025-03-08 | Just pulled out right in front of me. I didn't think much of it at first, but then he just flat-out refused to accelerate at all, just stayed at around 15mph. You can see I wasn't the only one to have to go around him. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Never Miss Your Exit - CompilationCS_Dashcam2025-03-07 | This happens a lot around here, drivers darting across multiple lanes, either coming on or off the freeway. So I decided to put these more recent ones into one video. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)That is NOT how a left turn into traffic works...CS_Dashcam2024-12-13 | Got behind this wonderful driver while leaving the grocery store. They apparently thought that the left-turning truck was stopping especially for them, and that all the other traffic would just stop, too, so they just... went. Kind of surprised I didn't hear more horns honking. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Some people just dont care...CS_Dashcam2024-12-12 | I know damn well he saw me, because my headlights were shining right in his face. He just didn't care. And forgot that he was towing a trailer. The weird edit of the horn sound is because I had to clip out everything else for music copyright shenanigans. Thanks, YT. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Mind your load...CS_Dashcam2024-12-11 | Not a particularly well-secured bit of sod. I was already moving out of the way before I even realized what had fallen off. There wasn't really any danger to my car even if I'd hit it aside from some dirt. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Stop trying to be polite...CS_Dashcam2024-12-10 | It's a bit hard to see what's going on because of how far ahead they were. Both cars wanted to get off at that exit, but one of them apparently forgot. They turned on their blinker, and then both cars began the dance of slowing down to try to let the other go ahead, to the point where they practically came to a dead stop right on the freeway. I'm not sure who's the idiot here. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)A Double EventCS_Dashcam2024-11-10 | I got to hit the button twice in as many minutes! The first is the usual I-don't-know-how-to-judge-traffic-speed, where the guy has to run into the grass to avoid hitting the car in front of him. The second one is traffic that just _has_ to get in front of the truck before they merge, with one guy even going so far as to dart between vehicles just so he can be the first to cut off the truck. Because that's always a smart thing to do... Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Almost Got WorseCS_Dashcam2024-11-09 | Another "Know Your Exit" video. Couldn't have just waited three seconds to slow down and come in behind me. Could have been worse if the truck in front had also been coming all the way over into the exit. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Know Your Exit Part ???CS_Dashcam2024-10-05 | I don't even know how many of these I have now. Yet another idiot that waited until the very last second before cutting someone off to make their exit. Not like he didn't have plenty of chances to get over, of course. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Idiot of the DayCS_Dashcam2024-09-22 | Somebody wants to grow up to be a statistic. Yes, there was another car right next to me. No, he wasn't wearing a helmet. And yes, lane-splitting is, in fact, illegal in Texas, and that's not what he was doing anyway. He was just being an idiot who's probably not long for this world if he keeps driving like that. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Pretty Sure He Saw Me...CS_Dashcam2024-09-21 | No idea what happened here. I guess some people just don't give a **** about other drivers. Another example of being too conservative in using my horn. I almost did, I swear. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Turning Left? Definitely Turning Left.CS_Dashcam2024-09-20 | I don't know if there's some kind driving dyslexia or what. They seemed so confident in that turn signal, but absolutely no hesitation in making the turn. There wasn't any other traffic to affect the decision. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Sure, Come On OutCS_Dashcam2024-09-19 | There's more to backing out of your driveway than just checking your mirrors and/or backup camera. At least she saw me eventually. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Blind spot? Whats that?CS_Dashcam2024-09-18 | Nothing like turning on your blinker when you're already starting to move over. That's not how those work. Oh, and check to see if there's already a car in the spot you're about to put yours into. I don't know if they were even aware that they almost hit someone. And then a minute later they dart across two lanes to make their exit. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Thats One Way to Make Your TurnCS_Dashcam2024-09-17 | Maybe it's not the best idea to pull across four lanes to make a left turn at an intersection that's only twenty yards away when there's already cars there. I tried to give her room, but it only worked so well. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Well, *Something* Happened...CS_Dashcam2024-09-16 | I was pretty far back, so even I didn't really see much until the dust cloud. Looks like somebody wasn't paying close enough attention to the traffic ahead of them slowing down. At least they avoided a collision, if not a car wash. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)In a Hurry?CS_Dashcam2024-09-15 | You can tell as they're passing that they're not exactly paying close attention to the road. They obviously didn't see the truck coming on until the very last second, but still didn't do anything. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Sure, Come On OutCS_Dashcam2024-09-14 | Stop signs, what are they for? Looking for other cars before you pull out? Why would I do that? Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Now Now, Dont Be Shy...CS_Dashcam2024-09-13 | You can tell they clearly knew they needed to move over, but seemed reluctant to do so despite having plenty of room. And then, like always, waiting until the very last second. The other driver even had to brake. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Boom!CS_Dashcam2024-07-21 | Nothing too wild, just a good shot of a lightning bolt dead ahead. You can see the bolt reflected in the car before it comes down far enough for the camera to catch it. No sound, it was too far away to hear the thunder. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Apparently slowing down is not an optionCS_Dashcam2024-07-20 | You can see he had plenty of room to slot in behind me, there was literally no one there. But no, he had to pull around in front of me when there wasn't really a whole lot of room to do so. Remember, objects in camera are closer than they appear! Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Thats one way to go around...CS_Dashcam2024-07-19 | Hint: If a truck has to go around you on the right, _when you're already in the right lane_ , then you're doing it wrong. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Theyre heeeere...CS_Dashcam2024-06-11 | First one I've seen in person. Just having a bit of fun with this one.Okay... DONT Come In...CS_Dashcam2024-06-08 | Someone seems afraid to merge. He had plenty of room to begin with, and I wasn't coming up that fast, but he just kept slowing down, apparently deathly afraid to merge in front of me. Then, he finally turns on his blinker once he starts moving and is running out of space. Then, to top it all off, *_he gets right back on the freeway!_* And he _doesn't_ get back off again, it's not like he just got the wrong exit. And there's no way to "accidentally" get off at that exit, there's no third lane there or anything, he had to pull off on purpose. Just another lost soul, I guess. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Mind the pole, not the chickenCS_Dashcam2024-06-05 | Caught in the drive-thru of the local Chick-Fil-A. Somebody obviously wasn't quite paying enough attention. He seemed pretty mad about it, but as you can see, there was no one to blame but himself. Sadly, the music did not, in fact, manifest at that moment, I just happened to turn it back at just the right time. Camera: VIOFO A139 PRO 2CH (front, rear)Sure, Come On In...CS_Dashcam2024-05-20 | Just headed to the store. I knew where I was going, so I was already in the lane I needed to be in. This other guy? Not so much. Note he's still in the far left lane when he decides he needs to exit RIGHT NOW. Once again, as a daily occurrence around here... don't you know where you're going? Don't you know where your exit is? I did slow down to let him in, mainly because there wasn't enough room to get past him because of the car in front. No, he's not brake-checking me at the end, the car in front of him was slowing down.May 16, 2024 StormsCS_Dashcam2024-05-19 | I was on my way to my goddaughter's high school graduation in the middle of the storms on May 16, 2024. We didn't get hit near as hard as Houston did, but there was still a LOT of water. Yes, that's a little bit of hydroplaning right after the edit. Objects in camera are closer than they appear, and I was starting to drift into the right lane toward that Impala. I had to (softly) hit the brakes to try to slow down, which happened right as I regained control. Drive safe! Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Know Your ExitCS_Dashcam2024-05-18 | Don't be that guy. The guy in the pickup? Yeah, him too. But especially the guy in the UHaul. I can only assume they were together and he was just as surprised by the sudden turn-off as I was to see the guy right on my tail cut across like that. Remember, objects in camera are closer than they appear! I don't get why people are apparently so deathly afraid of... just taking the next exit? Yeah, it might take you a whopping mile or so out of your way, but it won't cause a wreck or a flipped truck. Again, I'm flabbergasted by the number of people in this town that don't seem to know where their exit is, that they've probably taken a hundred times before. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)It Says Yield for a ReasonCS_Dashcam2024-05-17 | Most people coming down the feeder road understand that the ramp is there and that THEY are the ones that the Yield sign is meant for. Yeah, I probably could have slowed down, but I'm not legally obligated to do so in this situation, and it would only have encouraged this behavior in the future. I have enough control of my car to know I wasn't going to hit them, I was just out to give them a bit of a scare. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Always Pay AttentionCS_Dashcam2024-05-16 | This has happened more than once, and I've had a much closer call than this at this exact same spot (note that all objects in camera are closer than they appear). Traffic will slow down, and it takes just one person to be caught off guard for everyone to have to slam on their brakes to avoid a collision. And they don't always avoid them here. The FedEx driver behind me definitely had some choice words at the situation, and I don't blame her. I do appreciate that she was paying attention, though! Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front, rear)Youd rather be a PITA than wait in lineCS_Dashcam2024-05-05 | Third one of the day! Going home from the grocery store visit from my previous videos. You can see this one consider moving over earlier, then changing their mind and staying in the fast lane long enough to have to slow down to 35mph to try to find a gap to squeeze into at the very last second for their exit. Simply moving over when they first signaled would have cost them what... a few seconds by the time they finally got to their exit? And without having to very nearly come to a stop in order to make the exit. Again, this is a very common problem in this town. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front/rear)Just Go For ItCS_Dashcam2024-05-04 | Leaving the grocery store after yesterday's video. You can see him get on the feeder road ahead of me, and this does indeed leave you very little room to get to the turnaround. This is why I go to the next entrance, to give myself more time in case I can't pull all the way into the far lane like I did here. Then they couldn't figure out which lane they actually needed to be in to hit the turnaround... I will give them the benefit of the doubt about getting onto the feeder road here, though. Traffic remains at highway speeds for most of this road, and it's very busy during rush hour. You nearly always have to punch it to fit into any gap you find. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front/rear)Which Lane was it Again?CS_Dashcam2024-05-03 | Heading to the grocery store the other day, and this mastermind apparently forgets that the store is right there. As you can see from my other videos, this is a common problem in this town. They wait until the very last second before figuring out where they are, and then they just don't care who else is already in between them and their destination. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front/rear)A Regular OccurrenceCS_Dashcam2024-04-26 | I'm honestly surprised it took this long for it to happen after I got the dashcam. Sometimes it's practically every day. I get on the feeder road earlier because it's closer to my house and it gives me plenty of time to get up to speed, since the on-ramp is literally right there after where this happens. Inevitably, someone pulls out right in front of me, despite me coming up on them at nearly-highway speeds. Either A) They believe they're faster than me (they're not), or B) they're just a**holes and they know I'll be forced to slow down to avoid hitting them. This one's definitely the latter. And it looks like they've got a kid in the back, too. Great lesson to teach. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front/rear)All Together Now!CS_Dashcam2024-04-24 | One, two, three... All seemed to realize at about the same time that their exit was right there. Again, you drive this road *how* often? And haven't figured out where the exit is yet? Camera: VIOFO A139 2CH (front, rear)I think you lost something there...CS_Dashcam2024-04-19 | I was on my way to work when I saw a bunch of brake lights ahead, and cars dodging something. I thought it just was a tire at first, but when I passed it I saw it was the whole wheel, and the truck that lost it was pulled off to the side. Another car was also pulled over, and might have hit it when it came off. I was more or less clear to pass it on the right, but the car on the left in front of slowed down a *lot* once they go into the shoulder, so I had to slow down more than I wanted to to avoid getting alongside them. Then a pickup passed me on the right, closer than was comfortable. One of my co-workers almost saw it happen, he was about thirty seconds in front of me. He said he saw the tire bouncing down the road ahead of him and everybody trying to avoid it. I missed it by less than a minute, the guy was just getting out of his truck to go get it out of the road. Always pay attention to what's happening in front of you! Thankfully I had plenty of time to slow down because I saw everyone slowing down from a ways off.Another Daring ExitCS_Dashcam2024-04-18 | Just... why? Again, you know the exit's right there. You were already in the right lane. This maneuver saved you what, a couple of seconds? And they were a *hell* of a lot closer to the white car than to me. And they weren't even in a hurry, you can see them slow down as soon as they're off the freeway. I just... don't get it. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front/rear)Cant you just change lanes like a normal person?CS_Dashcam2024-04-17 | I saw this guy blast out from behind the other car in my rearview mirror. He then proceeds to try to drive up my tailpipe for a mile or so (objects in camera are closer than they appear). You can see him trying to find his spot and time his exit toward the end before he makes his daring escape. Despite obviously having plenty of places to move over before that, like a normal person. I see this crap all the time. You have to know your exit is coming up, right? You drive this road *every day*. Camera: VIOFO A139 Pro 2CH (front/rear)
