Videogame Music Remixes/JoJos Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle - The Way of Light (Touhou Remix)luisedgarf2026-09-17 | Videogame Music Remixes/JoJos Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle - The Way of Light (Touhou Remix)Original Music Remixes/The Emo Poochluisedgarf2024-04-28 | I'm experimenting with SUNO AI to create different types of original music themes, and after watching a video on Youtube, I came up with the idea of making a song about an emo dog in a comic tone. I just hope that some emo people won't feel offended with the song...
LYRICS [Verse] Eyeliner on his face He's got that emo doggie sway Black collar Black leash He's ready for the emo parade Tears rolling down his furry cheeks He's the saddest in the pack But don't let that fool you He's got some tricks up in his track
[Verse 2] He writes poetry with his paws His lyrics darker than the night Howls melodramatic tunes Under the pale moonlight He's got a punk rock attitude His bark's sharp like a knife But when you look into his eyes You see a dog who's lost his life
[Chorus] Who let the emo dog out? Woof Woof Woof He's got a broken heart But he's still got the woof His hair's all over the place He's a mess in black But when you pet him gently You'll never want him to look back..Original Music Remixes/Battle Song (from Katmandu)luisedgarf2024-04-24 | This song is based on lyrics written by Carole Curtis for the "Katmandu Handbook," a book that details the entire setting and characters from the comic. According to her, these lyrics appear in issue 3 at a specific part of the story (without spoilers). I couldn't find the cover for that issue, so I used the cover from the previous one.
The original lyrics are copyrighted by Carole Curtis, and I have no intention of infringing any copyright laws. If anyone wishes for the song to be removed, I will gladly comply.Original Music Remixes/Kyrie Eleison (Liberi Fatalis version)luisedgarf2024-04-10 | After many years, I'm doing a new video, this time testing a new song I created using the SUNO AI, and inspired in my fanfic I'm writing right now, named "LIBERI FATALIS: The Therianthrope Chronicles".
The lyrics are based on the Kyrie Eleison and they are relevant for the context of the story, especially at the beginning of it.Videogame Music Remixes/Genocide 1 - Desert Prayerluisedgarf2020-06-12 | SUPPORT ME IN PATREON IN: patreon.com/luisedgarf
After a long time without doing anything, no thanks to the current pandemic, I'm back to action with another remix, this time from Genocide, and more specifically from the "Square" conpilation for FM Towns.
I already uploaded the whole process about how I did this remix, so explain it again would be redundant, so enjoy it.
As you already noticed, the original version of the song was named "Desert Player", but it's more than obvious it was intended to be named "Desert Prayer" instead. How I Do My Remixes/Part 3 (Genocide Square/Desert Prayer)luisedgarf2020-06-12 | Here's the part 3 of my streaming session I left the last time, this time I will finish the remix today. How I Do My Remixes/Part 2 (Genocide Square/Desert Prayer)luisedgarf2020-06-11 | Here's the part 2 of my streaming session I left the last time, I hope finish the remix this time. How I Do My Remixes/Part 1 (Genocide Square/Desert Prayer)luisedgarf2020-06-09 | After successfully testing my latest streaming transmissions, I will now show you how I do my remixes. In this case, I'm going to start with the theme "Desert Prayer" from the game Genocide Squared for FM Towns, using MIDIs that I ripped directly from the game.Videogame Music Remixes/Mappy Land - Stage 1luisedgarf2020-02-23 | SUPPORT ME IN PATREON IN: patreon.com/luisedgarf
This theme was quite complicated to do, since the MIDI I used doesn't work in FL Studio, so I had to use it in Mixcraft instead, and that's not to mention how time-consuming it was to find the right instruments, since the original theme has a jazz atmosphere, but the instruments I had at hand were not to my liking, so I had to try with several until I found the right ones.TIMED PATREON EXCLUSIVE/Chaos Breaker - Openingluisedgarf2020-01-23 | SUPPORT ME IN PATREON: patreon.com/luisedgarf
This is one of my first exclusives you will find at my Patreon page, and it will be a timed exclusive. After that, I will upload the full theme in Youtube in due time.Videogame Music Remixes/Top Gun: The Second Mission - Stage 2luisedgarf2020-01-21 | SUPPORT ME IN PATREON: patreon.com/luisedgarf
The OST of this game is quite a pain in the ass to remix, since the nature of the soundtrack makes their tunes really noisy, especially with too many instruments, so it needs lots of tune-ups and mixing in order to get a good result, and this one is not the exception. It took me many days and lots of work in order to finish this. I hope you like this!Videogame Music Remixes/Pooyan - Medleyluisedgarf2020-01-13 | SUPPORT ME IN PATREON: patreon.com/luisedgarf
This was a quite easy tune to remix, the hardest part was to synchro the remixed audio with the video and the last part of it went out-of-place at the end, but I couldn't do anything else to fix it.Videogame Music Remixes/Ikaruga - Butsutekkai (Super NES Remix)luisedgarf2020-01-07 | SUPPORT ME IN PATREON: patreon.com/luisedgarf
For a chiptune remix, this was a quite easier one to do, being the hardes part finding the right samples to work with, being most of them from Square Enix's games and others from Super Audio Cart.
Also, sorry for the GUI bar from the emulator, but Retroarch doesn't allows me to use the Windows 10 recording tool at full screen and I have to record the video in windowed mode, since I used the Dreamcast version of the game.Videogame Music Remixes/Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode - Twilight of the Gods (Karaoke/JPN version)luisedgarf2019-12-31 | This is the final remix of the year, and to close it, the best way to do it is by doing the remix from the opening theme of the game, or more accurately, from the Karaoke mode used in the Japanese version.
By the way, If someone can translate the lyrics of the song for me, I would appreciate it a lot, so I can include an updated version of this video with the lyrics of the karaoke translated into English.Videogame Music Remixes/Brutal: Paws of Fury - Opening Themeluisedgarf2019-12-16 | The music of this game is quite unusual for the beat'em up genre: Despite being basically new age music with oriental instruments, it quite fits with the action and the intended feeling of the game, and in my opinion, it sounds much better than the OSTs of the Genesis, Sega CD and 32X's versions of the game, which use electronic music instead. For that reason, the remix use also Asian instruments as well, as well as trying to keep the relaxing feeling of the original soundtrack.Videogame Music Remixes/Battle Robot Retsuden - Map Theme 1luisedgarf2019-12-14 | I'm sorry I haven't uploaded more videos these days, but I've had a lot of personal problems in the last few weeks and that hasn't allowed me to work.
I don't have much to say about this video, except maybe I should have lowered the reverb a bit.Videogame Music Remixes/Battle Robot Retsuden - Normal Battleluisedgarf2019-12-05 | The original theme used electronic instruments in some parts, so I replaced them with saxs instead in order to be more consistent with the rest of the tune.Videogame Music Remixes/Battle Robot Retsuden - Final Battleluisedgarf2019-11-29 | The theme of the final battle of this game is quite epic by itself and this remix tries its best to reflect this as best as I can, so I used many orchestral instruments and I added a chorus as well.Videogame Music Remixes/Battle Robot Retsuden - Openingluisedgarf2019-11-29 | Another game with an excellent soundtrack which, unlike the SRW games, it has never received too much love.
The hardest part of doing this remix was the fact the MIDI wasn't compatible with FL Studio, so I have to use Synthfont instead, hence the reason why some instruments and the reverb could sound a little bit weird here, but I tried my best to solve this with the tools I had in hand, especially with the help of Audacity.Videogame Music Remixes/Jackal - Final Bossluisedgarf2019-11-27 | This was a quite difficult remix, due to the way some instruments are played and the way the MIDI file I used was rendered, since it only had very few instruments and I had to improvise a bit.Videogame Music Remixes/Jackal - Stage 3luisedgarf2019-11-20 | Again, another quite easy remix, so I don't have much to say here either.Videogame Music Remixes/Jackal - Stage 2luisedgarf2019-11-13 | This tune was a bit more complex than usual, since the original MIDI file was somewhat elaborated. Also, I added extra tracks in order to accomodate new instruments and, as a result, the final result sound somewhat more louder than usual, so bear with me on this one.Videogame Music Remixes/Jackal - Prologue & Stage 1luisedgarf2019-11-10 | Another remix from the OST of this game.
The only problem I had with this remix came in two parts: The prologue part was ripped from the NES version using NSF2MID and I have to do lots of editing in order to remove the rest of the Stage 1's tune, and the proper remix of the first stage was done using another MIDI file from an unknown Japanese composer.Videogame Music Remixes/Jackal - Introluisedgarf2019-11-08 | Just like most of the music that Konami did in the 80s, the music of the NES version of Jackal is also awesome, and it also deserve a remix.
This was quite easy to do, so I don't have too much to say this time.Videogame Music Remixes/S.O.S (aka Septentrion) - Intro & Prologueluisedgarf2019-11-06 | It's very obivious the developers of this game wanted a very cinematic feeling on this game, and that also includes the OST, so I did the same and I used orchestral instruments in order to retain the feeling that you're watching a very epic disaster movie.Videogame Music Remixes/Rush NAttack - Boss Theme/Game Over Screenluisedgarf2019-11-05 | In order to save time and space, I put both themes in a single video. Other than that, there's not much to say here, other than were the last tunes of this game.Videogame Music Remixes/Rush NAttack - End Stage Jinglesluisedgarf2019-11-04 | I don't have too much to say here, with the sole exception of the last jingle, since it's the American Anthem: Since the rendition of the anthem didn't sound too good in the files I have, I used a MIDI from a collection of national anthems, except speeded up to 150 BPM. Also, since the original game only plays a small excerpt from the anthem, I have to cut it to match with the video.Videogame Music Remixes/Rush NAttack - Endingluisedgarf2019-10-30 | For this remix, I tried my best to make this tune to sound as best as I can like a real military march. To be honest, I think it doesn't sound too bad.Videogame Music Remixes/Rush NAttack - Final Bossluisedgarf2019-10-30 | This is a quite epic theme, so tt also deserves a fitting remix as well.
I don't have too much to say here, since the remix was quite easy to make, so enjoy it!
I also added a Russian voice over using a TTS program, but, since I don't speak Russian, I don't know if the translation is correct or not, so any Russian speaker could correct me if they want.Videogame Music Remixes/Rush NAttack - Final Stageluisedgarf2019-10-30 | I managed to find a better MIDI file for the theme of the final stage, so this is the reason the instrumentation sounds different compared with the previous ones.
The only problem I had with this was the violin part, since the original file had many out-of-tune notes, so I had the fix them by hand.Videogame Music Remixes/Rush NAttack - Underground Levels (Japanese version)luisedgarf2019-10-29 | The music of the undeground levels sound very out of place compared with the militaristic tunes of the rest of the soundtrack, since it sound more like music from a cheap horror film rather than the OST of a game featuring a green beret kicking Russian ass.
Regarding this remix, The strings parts were the most difficult piece of this theme, since I wanted to keep the horror feel of the original theme and I barely found a good VST for this job.Videogame Music Remixes/Rush NAttack - Stage 2luisedgarf2019-10-29 | Compared with the previous remix, this was much easier to work with, since the drum track didn't sound too much out-of-tune compared with the one from the first stage.Videogame Music Remixes/Rush NAttack - Intro & Stage 1luisedgarf2019-10-29 | Creating this remix was quite challenging due to several reasons. Firstly, the original midi files appeared to have been extracted from the NES version, and the only element that seemed original was the drum track. However, the drum track did not sound good as NSF2MID had difficulty handling it. Moreover, the drum track was inadequate, to say the least, which required me to improvise by introducing additional tracks, rearranging some instruments, and including numerous effect tracks.Videogame Music Remixes/Super Dodge Ball (Neo Geo) - Kenjis themeluisedgarf2019-10-26 | The soundtrack of this game is quite epic and it's really a pity that, unlike other Neo Geo games, it never got an arranged version. Also, I only managed to find a single MIDI of the music from this game, and likely one of the best ones, along with Kunio, Sabu and the final boss.
This remix gave me a real headache to work with it, as some tracks were mapped with the wrong instruments, not to say that the drum track also had several parts wrong, so I had to correct everything manually. In addition, I had a lot of difficulty with the guitar harmonics that appear at the beginning of the track, so what you hear is the best I could get with what I have at hand in my soundfonts libraries.Videogame Music Remixes/The Hybrid Front - Introluisedgarf2019-10-25 | This is a rather forgotten classic with a excellent soundtrack, too bad the game never was successful by its own means.
I had to make this remix with Mixcraft, as the MIDI file didn't work in FL Studio. Also, I struggled a bit to find good electronic instruments, so I used the stock ones instead.Videogame Music Remixes/Street Fighter 2010 - Stage 1-3luisedgarf2019-10-21 | Another quite easy theme to remix using Mixcraft. I just hope the reverb doesn't drown out some of the sounds too much.Videogame Music Remixes/Street Fighter 2010 - Stage 2-1luisedgarf2019-10-19 | For this remix, I used Mixcraft instead of FL Studio since this DAW is pretty good on doing very elaborated tunes with minimal effort, in this case this theme, which is very epic, in my opinion. The only hard part was finding a good reverb effect, so I had to render the remix without any effects and apply them with Audicity instead.Videogame Music Remixes/Street Fighter 2010 - Stage 1-1luisedgarf2019-10-17 | Most of the OST of this game is pretty cool and really deserve a bit of more love.
Regarding this remix, this was pretty easy to do and i don't have too much to say here, so enjoy it please.Videogame Music Remixes/Street Fighter 2010 - Introluisedgarf2019-10-16 | The soundtrack of this game really deserves some love, despite there's already many remixes in the net, but this is my personal take of it anyways.
Curiously enough, this was a pretty easy remix to do, since most of the track of the original MIDI file were pretty straighfoward and that make the things easier to me. I also added some SFX effects as well.Videogame Music Remixes/Street Fighter II Turbo - Theme of the Four Devas of Shadalooluisedgarf2019-10-14 | I find it truly strange that no one has ever thought of remixing this theme. It is very probable that it is because it sounds very similar to Ravel's Bolero, but that doesn't prevent it from being a very good song by its own merits, so I thought about remixing this tune.
Getting a good MIDI of this track was the hardest part, as there is none on the net, and the version taken from the Super NES version couldn't be converted properly to MIDI, so I had to get the file from the X68K version. Besides that, there were many tracks in the archive that made it sound out of tune with other instruments, so in some cases I had to leave the original instrumentation unmodified.Videogame Music Remixes/Red Earth - Sword of the Unparalleled Emperor (Leos theme/Super NES Remix)luisedgarf2019-10-10 | There's very few MIDIs from this game, and also very few remixes from its OST, so I decided to make one, except using instruments from many Capcom's Super NES games, plus some samples from the Super Audio Cart library.Videogame Music Remixes/Wolf RPG Editor - Battle 1luisedgarf2019-10-02 | Another RPG creator program with very cool MIDI files for work with.
The hardest part of this remix were the drums again, but this time, I struggled finding good orchestral drums in my library, so I have to use what I have in hand.Videogame Music Remixes/EasyRPG - Battle 2luisedgarf2019-10-01 | This MIDI was taken from the replacement RTP from the program, and while the music doesn't have the same quality like its Japanese cousing, it's still pretty good anyway.
There's not much to say here, since the remix was quite easy to do, and the only thing that gave me some trouble was the drums, but I solved that quite easy.Videogame Music Remixes/SD Mobile Suit Gundam 2 - Bursted Fire (VS Mode/Outer Space)luisedgarf2019-09-30 | The OST of this game game is quite cool, especially the ones from the VS mode, so I made a remix from it.
The most hardest part from this remix was the guitars, since they sounded either too quieter or too louder, so, as a compromise, I used some delay effects to increase the amount of simultaneous sounds without having to duplicate instruments.Videogame Music Remixes - Strikers 1945 II - Devils Tower (Super NES Remix)luisedgarf2019-09-26 | It's been a long time since I've made chiptune remixes, and this time I thought of making one based on this theme.
The only problem I had with this remix is that the drums don't sound as powerful as I would have liked them to be, but none of the soundfonts nor Sound Audio Cart have good Super NES drums, so please excuse me if that might be a nuisance.
Another thing with video is that I use a video filter that simulates a classic analog TV screen, simulating how the game would have been played if it had come out on the Super NES. Also sorry if the aircraft does not appear, but because I used an invincibility cheat in MAME, this caused the plane to become invisible due to flickering when recording video.Videogame Music Remixes - Fist of the North Star 6 - Endingluisedgarf2019-09-25 | This is the last theme from this game. I replaced some guitars with an organ for a more epic feeling on it.
From now and for some time, I will do remixes from random games, rather than doing from specific ones, in order to take a rest, as extracting the MIDIs from the SPC files, and assigning the correct instruments is a very tiring job.Videogame Music Remixes/Fist of the North Star 6 - Kaiohluisedgarf2019-09-23 | I don't have too much to say here, except the next remix (the ending theme of the game) will be the last remix I will do from this game. I will not going to do the winning/losing jingles, since right now I'm sick and I did this remix quite quickly, to be honest.Videogame Music Remixes/Fist of the North Star 6 - Kuroyashaluisedgarf2019-09-17 | The original theme sounded very simple and plain, so I added military drums in other to give the theme a more eerie feeling.Videogame Music Remixes/Fist of the North Star 6 - Mr. Heartluisedgarf2019-09-16 | The only problem I had with this theme was the trumpets were too loud, so I have to remasterize the whole thing in a way they could sound more or less OK for me.Videogame Music Remixes/Fist of the North Star 6 - Raohluisedgarf2019-09-15 | Again, there's not much to say here, other than the guitars could sound somewhat louder, but I couldn't find good ones in my instrument library and I don't have too much time to find freeware ones.Videogame Music Remixes/Fist of the North Star 6 - Reiluisedgarf2019-09-14 | This remix was very similar like the last one, so I don't have too much to say here this time.
