The two buttons on the back of my Steam Controller are used to hold straight up or down, with right being up, and left being down.

I collect the star Scary `Shrooms. Red Coins without using any buttons (except for using the C buttons to change the camera angle).
After collecting two of the red coins, I use the vertical wind to let me easily adjust my height, making it possible to manipulate the fly guy into the area below the mushrooms. Marios horizontal speed in wind has no positive cap, so by flying against ceiling and a wall, I can build a very high amount of speed. I fly at a particular position and angle that lets Mario bounce off the fly guy, resulting in his high speed being maintained. The high speed lets Mario collect the two coins on the mushrooms left without landing on a mushroom or falling into the pit below. This means I can continue to twirl to collect another red coin, before using the wind to land on the area above the mushrooms. From here, its as simple as moving down the mountain to collect the remaining coins, and using the wind to reach the star.")
