The Emperor heads down to Tefal, location that we were made privy to way back to when we dealt with matters in Nibel and the Martial Artists. Tefal is the location of a precious gemstone mines that would surely make the Empire reach if it was under their control. But of course, there are fiends infesting the mines that are stopping the miners from working. Dispatching them all brings South Varennes under the Empire's control and bring in a healthy revenue stream. We also get information from one of the miner's on how to make more progress further south.
