Robot mowers have always struggled with one thing… cutting right up to the edge.
So does the new Mammotion LUBA Mini 2 AWD finally fix it?

In this video I test the LUBA Mini 2 AWD from @Mammotiontech to see how it performs in real-world conditions.
I’ve been running the larger LUBA 2 AWD on my own property, and I’ve also set up the original Mini — so I wanted to see how this new version compares, especially with the new edge cutting disc.
🔍 What I cover:
Edge cutting test (and whether it actually works)
Long grass / rough terrain performance
AWD slope test
Setup (no RTK antenna, plug & play)

⚠️ Honest thoughts:
The setup and general performance are genuinely strong — especially how easy it is to get up and running. No Wires, No RTK installation.
But the edge cutting feature isn’t the game changer I was hoping for, mainly due to:
Fixed cutting height
Safety guard limiting reach
Software buffer stopping it cutting right to the edge
So while it helps slightly in some cases… it definitely doesn’t replace a strimmer.
