We’ve got another Sonic Adventure DX speedrun today! ⚡ This time, we’re speeding through Sky Deck, one of the most chaotic stages in the game!It’s wild to think this entire level takes place on a single airship, which is crazy — and it definitely won’t be the last time we see something like this in the Sonic series. The stage is packed with cannons firing all over, ladders to climb, and enemies to either take out or dodge as you move through the level. Things get even crazier in the second half when the gravity manipulation mechanic kicks in — you’ll need to watch your step so you don’t fall straight into the abyss!If you time your jumps right, though, you can skip that section completely and take a shortcut. With everything going on, this level can be tough to speedrun — I definitely failed a few times trying to hit my target time. But with some practice, it becomes a lot more manageable.Alright, let’s hit the skies and tear through Sky Deck at full speed! Compared to Speed Highway, Radical Highway feels way faster and more chaotic, especially when you’re spin dashing across loops or leaping over ramps at full speed. 🌀💨The OST is incredible too—it gives off that secret agent vibe, totally fitting Shadow’s “on the run” vibe for the entire stage. Every section pushes you to keep your momentum up and master the flow of the level. Overall, Radical Highway is an epic introduction to Shadow and his abilities, full of speed, style, and nonstop action.So buckle up, let’s hit the highway, and start speeding! Back again with another Sonic Adventure DX Speedrun! 🔥 Today we’re charging into Red Mountain — a straight-up volcanic gauntlet that goes from rocky mountain rush to full-on lava inferno. 🏔️🔥The level’s split into two parts: a high-speed dash across industrialized mountain ridges—crates, bridges, zip-lines, and Badniks everywhere—then you drop into the volcano where things get hot fast: flowing lava, collapsing rocks, and hazards that’ll punish sloppy movement. Quick tip you can breeze past the 2nd half fairly quick if you time your spin dashes carefully which can help you take cool shortcuts!Visually and sonically, Red Mountain hits hard. The ost ramps up that “danger” energy and the stage’s heavy-rock vibe fits the whole molten theme perfectly — great music to push you faster but also make you focus. This stage is tucked away in a snowy mountain range, guarded by patrolling robots, searchlights, and a few watchtowers looming in the distance.Right from the jump, you’re thrown into a high-speed snowboard section, dodging obstacles and enemies while shredding down the slopes — easily one of my favorite openings in the whole game. Once you hit the base, things get even better thanks to the Light Blue (Sky) Gem. Its Gun Drive ability lets you throw the gem forward and instantly warp to it, letting you cross big gaps, bypass slow platforming, and skip entire chunks of the level in style.Between the slick snowboarding, the stealthy infiltration vibes, and the speedrunner-friendly gem tricks, White Acropolis always delivers. (Sonic P-06 really shows that… but that’s a story for another time. 😉)Wave Ocean is the very first stage of the game, and it instantly gives me major Emerald Coast vibes from Sonic Adventure—same beach setting, crystal-clear water, leaping dolphins, and that classic tropical energy. 🏝️🐬 In many ways, I see Wave Ocean as a modern take on that level, especially since Sonic 06 was meant to evolve the Adventure formula for the next generation of consoles back in the day.Visually, it’s stunning for its time, with wide-open beaches, crashing waves, and that high-speed rush Sonic is known for. Once you lock in and trust your momentum, the stage rewards you with some of the smoothest, most satisfying movement in the game.The OST here is a banger too—fast, energetic, and perfect for keeping your adrenaline up while you’re speeding across those rails at full tilt.Oh, and there are some cool shortcuts you can pull off if you’ve got the skill. A couple of them are pretty risky—miss it and you’re gone—but if you land them, you’ll shave off a ton of time and look like an absolute pro doing it.Final Rush is a stage that’ll keep you on the edge the whole run—and I’m all in for it. Today we’re diving into the iconic Speed Highway from Sonic Adventure DX on the GameCube! 🌀💨 This level is all about that classic high-speed platforming, with crazy loops, fast-paced sections, and those classic Sonic ramps that keep the momentum going.Speed Highway isn’t just a test of speed—it demands sharp reflexes and perfect timing to nail those jumps and keep the momentum without wiping out. From the urban cityscape vibe to the neon-lit highways flying by, this stage is a perfect showcase of Sonic’s signature blend of speed and style 🚦⚡.There’s a cool shortcut you can take towards the beginning checkpoint section of the level if you spin dash at the right angle and shift the camera while doing so, which will allow you to skip a good chunk of the level towards the other side. Really cool shortcut I discovered—it’s hard to pull off, but with enough practice, it’s totally worth it.Also, the OST for this stage is awesome, with a fast-paced beat that perfectly matches the intensity of the run.Whether you’re racing through loops, dodging obstacles, or chaining combos, Speed Highway always keeps you on your toes. We’re taking on the 5th stage: Pirate Storm — a level packed with shipwrecks, cannon fire, and a raging thunderstorm in the background.Out of all the stages in the game, this one’s easily one of the easiest (besides Sand Oasis). It’s jump-heavy, which means if your timing and practice are solid, you can skip big sections with ease. There’s also a slick shortcut in the middle of the stage — just Speed Break to the right and skip the enemy gate entirely!Some of my favorite moments? Surfing on a giant bullet straight toward enemy ships and pulling off insane air tricks while riding the waves mid-storm. 🔥 It’s flashy, fast, and honestly, totally badass! Despite this being one of Eggman’s hidden bases, this stage goes all-in on the ancient Egyptian ruin vibe—with the outside shaped like pyramids and the inside filled with hieroglyphs and massive murals. And of course, since it’s Eggman’s base, the statues here have his face on them… creepy.This level is pretty fast-paced, but it can definitely be tricky to speedrun. That ghost near the end? Yeah, it’ll grab and strangle you if you’re not quick, and you’ve gotta hit switches while dodging it just to escape in time. It’s a solid level overall, but depending on your skill and knowledge of the layout, it can be a real hassle to get through cleanly.Also, shoutout to the Sonic 3 fans—this stage seems to be a nod to Sandopolis Zone with a similar ghost and switch gimmick. This time, we’re taking on the 4th stage of the game—Levitated Ruin! 💨⚡This level is no joke—it’s not Evil Foundry levels of crazy, but it’s still tough. There are some sharp turns and tight corners that really test your reaction time, especially in the early and middle parts of the stage. Most of the time though, you’ll be blazing across the glowing yellow path (yeah... insert Wizard of Oz reference here 😂).The entire stage takes place high in the sky, running across floating ruins while a huge gust of wind constantly pushes you back 🌬️. Oh—and watch out for those flying pillars it throws at you. They will mess up your run if you’re not ready!Even with the chaos, Levitated Ruin is a blast. It really shows off just how fast Sonic can get in this game—especially when he’s zooming full speed down those paths. It looks straight-up badass! 🌀🔥And yo—there’s a neat easter egg here too: In the 5th mission, if you stop at the switch lever, you’ll spot Big the Cat trying to keep his balance on a tower! Sonic and The Secret Rings: Evil Foundry Speedrun (4K 60FPS) SBGaming+ 2025-07-21 | What’s good, y’all! We’re back with another epic Sonic and the Secret Rings speedrun—this time blazing through the third stage: Evil Foundry. 🌀🔥This level is easily one of my favorites in the entire game. The OST here—"The Palace That Was Found"—is an absolute banger! 🔥 They really went all out with this track. It’s hands-down one of my favorite video game songs (aside from the Sonic Frontiers OST, which also slaps—but I digress).Aside from the killer music, Evil Foundry is just a blast to run through. It delivers that signature Sonic speed while throwing a ton of tight obstacles your way. You’ll be weaving through hazards, dodging spikes, and leaping over bottomless pits—so staying locked in is a must if you want to survive and set a good time.The stage gives off the usual "factory level" vibes you see in a lot of Sonic games, but instead of chemicals like Chemical Plant Zone, this one's packed with lava and steam—more of a steam-powered factory vibe. And honestly? Sonic and the Secret Rings: Sand Oasis Speedrun (4K 60FPS) SBGaming+ 2025-07-17 | What’s Good Y’all!Today I’m kicking off my very first speedrun of Sonic and the Secret Rings on the Nintendo Wii! 🔥Fun fact: this game was originally supposed to be a Wii port of Sonic 06, but SEGA scrapped that idea and gave us this instead — all because of the Wii’s motion control craze back in the day. That’s also why you can only use the Wii Remote here... and trust me, if you’re planning to play this game, you’re gonna need a lot of practice — and most importantly, patience! (SEGA was definitely chasing gimmicks back then 😅)Even with that, this is honestly one of my favorite Sonic games. The aesthetic pulls from the Arabian Nights, and the level design reflects that beautifully — especially in later stages like Night Palace. The visuals really pop, and the OST? Straight-up bangers. My personal favorites? “The Palace That Was Found” and “Unawakening Float”. Seriously underrated.Anyway — today I’ll be speedrunning the very first stage: Sand Oasis. This level throws you into an Arabian desert setting with distant towns, buildings, and that signature Sonic speed. The background track, “Let the Speed Mend It,” fits the vibe perfectly and adds that adrenaline rush as you dash through!It’s a strong first stage and one I always enjoy coming back to. This was the first official 3D stage in the Sonic franchise and also Sonic’s first entry into 3D.Emerald Coast features a tropical beach setting with hotels, rocky terrain, and small islands off in the distance. As you move through the stage, you’ll get a great view of the ocean—it looks absolutely beautiful (GameCube version definitely has the best water effects). You’ll also hit loops and experience that classic Sonic momentum.Oh, and halfway through? Sonic nearly gets wrecked by a raging orca whale that destroys the path behind him, trying to drown him—starting off their weird friend/enemy relationship. (Yeah, it’s complicated.)The OST here is a vibe too—calm but upbeat. Sonic Unleashed Recompiled - Mazuri Day: Savannah Citadel Act 2 (4K) 60FPS SBGaming+ 2025-04-01 | What's Good Everyone! We're on to the next unleashed speedrun! Today I'll be playing the most famous level in the game savannah citadel act 2. This level is famous for 2 things 1 is drifting and the other is falling which you'll be doing a lot of in this stage. The goal of the level is simple: drift 3 laps around the course in a minute and 15 secs before time is up. Sounds simple right? Well yes and no. As you are drifting you'll notice you'll have trouble keeping Sonic steady on the path in order to make the complete turn and because there is no fence to save you while your going really fast you'll immediately fall off the path and have to try again. That is because you don't quite know how to drift properly but don't worry I'll give you guys some helpful advice: Remember that quote from Doc in the cars movie about going left to go right? Well it's the same logic here. What you'll need to do is before you start drifting move towards the opposite direction first with the (Left Analog Stick) and then immediately point it in the direction your going to start drifting with the (RB Button) while also turning with the (Right Analog Stick). What this will do is keep your movements steady thanks to the (Right Analog Stick) since it controls the camera and it will help you drift properly without falling off. Another tip is you can also reset your speed by boosting for a split second too to slow yourself down in order to make the complete turn. It will take some practice but after that it should be a piece of cake. (The more ya know music). Anyway with that long explanation out of the way let's get going! Sonic Unleashed Recompiled - Mazuri Day: Savannah Citadel Act 1 (4K) 60FPS SBGaming+ 2025-03-31 | What is Good Everyone! We are back once again with another Unleashed recompiled speedrun! Today I'll be playing through savannah citadel act 1. This stage consist of a large open desert with reddish brown roads and a town in the distance. As you race through the beginning section you can see wild animals such as giraffes, zebras, and elephants behind the fence area which is a pretty neat detail. Another cool fact about this stage is that the town buildings are based off ( Djinguereber Mosque) which is a learning center in Timbuktu, Mali or (the Great Mosque of Djenné) which is the largest adobe brick building in the world. (The more ya know I guess lol). As with pretty much every boost stage in this game this one is also a fun level to play through. Even though it's very linear you can still take a couple shortcuts to skip certain sections mainly at the beginning part of the stage. Also I love the drift sequence at the beginning as well. The music sounds great too which is also a plus. It really fits with the aesthetic of the stage since its based off Africa. A really solid level no doubt and one of my favorites to replay in this game! Anyway enough talk let's get to speedrunning! For today's unleashed speedrun were heading towards the 2nd act of the night time version of windmill isle. This level is a lot shorter compared to the first act. The goal is basically to find the right switches in order to open the door towards the exit and along the way you'll be attacked by dark gaia enemies that will try to distract you from doing so.
