Prophet of Zod | Righteous Gossip: When Christians talk to Christians about Non-Believers (feat. Jon Steingard) @ProphetofZod | Uploaded October 2020 | Updated October 2024, 7 hours ago.
One of the most horrifying things Christianity teaches believers is to assume negative things about non-believers. Of course nobody can just sincerely not believe in God; they all pretty much know God exists yet think they know better than him, want to sin, and so on. You get the idea.
In this video, I take a look at what a Martyn Iles of the "Australian Christian Lobby" has to say about a string of high profile Christians who recently left the faith. The point isn't to respond to his specific video, but rather to break down common assumptions any of us might hear upon leaving the faith. Hopefully it helps.
I'm joined by one of the subjects of Iles' video, Jon Steingard, who was kind enough to give his firsthand thoughts on how he was represented.
