Religious trauma has become a popular term, but not everyone experiences trauma. Many people carry the remnants of religious indoctrination which may or may not be trauma, but this indoctrination does have an impact on well being and quality of life nevertheless.
Why do the remnants of indoctrination hang on so long after you leave a religion? The secret is in understanding how the brain works. Dr. Darrel Ray will give a version of the talk on this topic that he recently gave at the Religious Trauma Symposium at Harvard.
Join us either in Zoom (where you can ask questions), or watch the show live in YouTube. And remember to stay for the Zoom hangout after the show!
