This is a test video of the Panasonic GH5 with high iso. From iso 100 200 400 800 1600 3200 6400 12800 in video mode.
I shot 2 different scenes 1 indoor dark F2.8 and 1 outside and bright f11. The lens used is the Panasonic leica 25mm F1.4.
3840x2140 8bit 420 50fps 150mbit
Cinelike D -5 -5 0 -2 0 Colorgraded
I will use up to iso 1600 for my projects.
For vlogs iso 3200/6400 is usable.
Iso 12800 is to high for what I shoot and like.
The higher iso you shoot the less color and dynamic range you have.
And offcourse much more noise.
On microfourthird cameras in low light I like to use F1.4 lenses. If you use fast lenses you dont need extreme iso settings to get your shot. Also you can play a bit with your shutterspeed. For example when I shoot 50fps I sometimes use shutterspeed of 50.
