Ok, maybe they didn't "lie", but they did have some glaring errors in their listing. This is a 1958 Guild M20 sn7921, made in Hoboken, NJ, which is an all-mahogany, small bodied acoustic, also known as the Nick Drake model, due to the British singer-songwriter using one throughout his brief career. The seller said in the Reverb listing it was "all original"...it isn't. The bridge and bridge plate were replaced. They said it had "no issues"...it has TONS of issues we will need to fix, namely the neck is in need of being reset, but maybe we can get around that? We'll perform a sort of "poor man's neck reset" on this, in which we will show how to lower the action on an acoustic guitar without a neck reset. This makes sense given the circumstances because the bridge is not original anyway. This is a fun one. Grab some popcorn.
