With the wedding only 3 days away, it's a big push to get the chandelier done. I drill 1/4" holes along the underside of the chandelier for the wire and get it fed through. Then it's cable management time, as it looks like a big mess having 26 strands go every which way. Once I have the electrical buttoned up, I test it out by screwing in the Edison bulbs I bought. The next day I head up to our farm shop to fabricate a bracket that will support the weight of the chandelier up in the rafters. Once I have it built, it's back down to the barn in the lift truck to get everything installed. Phew, 2 days to spare! I love being proactive and getting big projects done early...
