The "Gaming Lens: DarkOPS-SFFFMR*" with AMD Ryzen 7, 8745H - 780M GPU, 16GB 5600 MHz connected to a pair of 1st gen Xreal Airs in 3D running a custom SteamOS build, REFramework, ReShader, and Super3D shader running at 3840x1080 in stereo at 30+ fps, quality FSR 4.1 and 3.1.
I was able to push 45fps if I dropped it down to 1920x1080 and performance mode. Key take away is this is on XReals without the 3DReal "3D" Realtime process, which I have read may not work with all games AND cost between $400 and $500. It also highlights the upcoming "Gaming Lens: DarkOPS-SFFFMR" that due to its unique cooling system based "Ice Sticks(tm)" cross flow cooling, allows the AMD APU to run at 70W TDP at temps below 70c, AND 10.5 OLED that can run at 2560x1600 60Hz or 1920x1200 90Hz that is magnetically attached to inside cover of the hardcase based enclosure allowing removal and attached to a Dual Sense or XBOX controller with the optional 'Gaming Lens' mount for a tethered handheld experience, or disconnected and the XReal connected instead. The rig will also have 50 Ah (yes that right 50 Ampere Hours) Li-Ion removable/replaceable battery pack for close to two hours of gaming at full throttle.
NOTE: Sadly, I forgot to hide the REFramework menu, and not sure if it is needed since you change aspect ratio in ReShader - Super3D so you might gain a little more performance by disabling it or not loading it at all. The key to this working is using ReShader - Super3D (I will provide a "how-to" link on how to install and setting for SteamOS later after little more tweaking. It should also be noted this has 3DOF by using Decky XRGaming (VR-Lite -- leave in mouse mode). I will recommend to Wheaney to add ReShader - Super3D and an option to enable it within the XRGaming.
