So I built up the conventional tail for the Reptile Dragon 2, and replaced the V tail. I put the CG back on the molded marks and flew it, with no other changes. The plane flies much better with this tail! Surprisingly it just needed a couple clicks of trim and was dead on. Launches straight out and flat too, none of the dipping and pitch oscillation I saw with the V tail. Now we can move forward with other plans for this one... lol
