Remember the Magic Parade • Disney World 25th Anniversary • Magic Kingdom 1996 POV
This is the kind of Disney history you don’t see every day — a full POV recording shot by RobFuz of the Remember the Magic Parade during Walt Disney World’s 25th Anniversary celebration on December 4, 1996. The colors, the music, the energy… it’s pure ’90s Magic Kingdom magic.
The Remember the Magic Parade debuted on September 27, 1996, created specifically for the resort’s 25th Anniversary. It was one of the most unique parades Disney ever produced — packed with interactive show stops, parade coaches pulling guests into the performance, and a soundtrack built around the anniversary theme song “Remember the Magic.” This was Disney at its most celebratory, and this footage captures the parade exactly as fans remember it.
You’ll see the full lineup of floats in chronological Disney order — from the shimmering Crystal Castle to The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King — all leading into the Enchanted Forest finale. • Debuted September 27, 1996 for Walt Disney World’s 25th Anniversary.

• Renamed the Magical Moments Parade in February 1998 and ran until September 2001.

1. It was the first Disney parade to include dedicated “parade coaches” who selected guests to join the show.
2. The Genie’s treasure car in the Aladdin unit was one of the most complex moving props in any ’90s Disney parade.
3. The parade’s opening castle float featured special anniversary colors not used in any other parade.
4. The theme song “Remember the Magic” had alternate lyrics performed only during the 25th celebration.
5. The parade route began in Frontierland, which was unusual for Magic Kingdom parades at the time.
