Velvet is the working title for Melancholy Mechanics.
What is "Black Fish Ferris Wheel"? It is the name I added to this OHM advance cassette dated June 1995.
The tape was originally called 6.21.95 (not Black Fish...) and it was for WB executives. Black Fish Ferris Wheel was a name they toyed with and Mark Ryden (the original artist) made the first version of the cover with that name. The names of the songs mostly retain their working titles, but there are several differences, mainly in their endings, cuts and raw mixes.

New project! I took the vocals from BTW and added them into the Rough Mixes/Unmastered instrumentals to make it sound clearer!. Some overdubs/late additions are not present since the instrumentals are dated from November 2001.
The source is a CD that contained these early mixes had Anthonys guide vocals (you can find the full album on my channel).

40 years ago Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Cliff Martinez and Jack Sherman released their first studio album. Half of the songs were composed with Hillel Slovak and Jack Irons but at this time they were playing in What Is This.
