AKA. Warzard in Japan. This is the Arcade version of the game. Played on Capcom Fighting Collection on Nintendo Switch
Review – The first thing that stands out in this game are the striking visuals. The fighters are very large on screen and animations are great. This game came out 2 years before Street fighter 3, and 2 years after SF2 Super Turbo. So, for its time, the graphics are even more impressive.
Gameplay-wise, it plays similarly to any capcom fighting games with the same type of commands. Although the moves list does reveal quite an extensive range of specials.
There are only 4 characters to choose from in this game which is a very small roster, even for the time.
This had the potential to be a big series but for some reason Capcom stopped it dead. I don’t think are even any console versions.
Rating – 7/10
