A live performance of my arrangement of a traditional Egyptian song, "I Saw the Moon" - usually heard accompanied by the simsimiyya (the wire-strung traditional bowl lyre still popular in Egypt today), but magically transported back in time in this video, to be heard instead, on my replica of an actual, surviving ancient Egyptian lyre; dating to circa 1,500 BC!

This lyre was reconstructed from the actual dimensions of this miraculously surviving ancient Egyptian lyre, by Luthieros:
