Newly updated for 2025! I rank my villagers in all eight of my Animal Crossing towns across five games: The original GameCube game (3 towns), Wild World on Nintendo DS, City Folk on Wii (2 towns), New Leaf on 3DS, and New Horizons on Nintendo Switch. I start at the bottom of each list, listing my least-favorite, and work my way up to the favorites in each town.
A green background indicates villagers I particularly like, yellow is neutral, and a red background means I really dislike that animal. In some towns, I may like all (or most) of my villagers, so being last doesn't mean I dislike them. Villager lists and rankings are current as of March 4, 2025, and are subject to change.
