Randy has located a bull he wants to stalk. He and Marcus work their way into the bull's bedding area and wait for an opportunity to get inside archery range. Eventually, the bull makes a move, stepping into range and giving Randy the shot he's been waiting for.

At first, he believes he made a good hit. But as the day unfolds, they realize things may not have gone as planned. Randy and Marcus spend the rest of the day searching for the bull, following every lead and checking the areas they believe he may have gone.
But as darkness approaches, the bull is nowhere to be found.
