An analysis of the poorest regions of the US and looking at the demographic makeup of the counties in that region. There is often an assumption that homogeneous places are more successful and that places that are more diverse are more likely to have issues regarding poverty. Here I want to examine the counties to determine whether or not homogeneity is preferrable to diversity with regard to income and poverty. Despite the topic, this is a non-political video where I am simply examining the realities of the poorest regions of the U.S.
