S-Video Test, Quality Improvement? DrBizz 2023-07-14 | Hello friends. I've decided to try and increase the quality of my videos and realized that my capture card supports S-Video. This is a test clip to see the quality improvement from my original format of recording and rendering the final clip. Despite only being 480p, this looks better than what I have been doing.This is a raw clip from my capture device that hasn't been edited, and I just wanted to see if other people think it looks better than what I've been doing. Halo 2 Mod - Continuously Getting A Checkpoint DrBizz 2023-07-07 | Had some time to research checkpoint mods today and succeeded with this idea I had a while ago. Continuously getting a checkpoint throughout the duration of the entire mission. No other checkpoints interfere with it, saving and quitting works normally and 100%. The usefulness of this is limitless and beyond measure. Just awesome.

There are a lot of unique situations with the game where you are stashed in different spots, or teleported and moving quickly. Halo 2 Mod - Outskirts - Grabbing The Cutscene Plasma Turret Gun Big Needler DrBizz 2023-03-01 | In the Outskirts intro cutscene, Bungie used floating plasma rifle guns for effect and they can be grabbed by the playable character with mods. My previous video I got the scarab gun but my friend Mister Monopoli pointed out that the plasma turret should be possible to grab too. In the weapon tags of the map it is referred to as the "Big Needler" I believe.Done on the original xbox console.
Halo 2 Mod - Grabbing The Outskirts Cutscene Scarab Gun DrBizz 2022-11-18 | During the intro cinematic cutscene on Outskirts, Bungie actually programmed the handheld scarab gun to be mounted on the scarab and shoot the pelicans flying above the road. Just like during normal gameplay, this gun can be picked up by the player. Wow!

Road Riot 4WD Unreleased Genesis Game Found & Dumped (1993 build) DrBizz 2022-06-16 | Hello everyone. Yes, one of the prototypes from my collection appears to be an unknown later build of "Road Riot 4WD" for the Sega Genesis. It was an arcade game by Atari that was ported to the Super Nintendo. This build was in development for the Genesis and looks near complete but was never commercially released. Crayon Sega Genesis Prototype Doesnt Boot. (can anything be done?) DrBizz 2022-05-27 | One of the prototypes from my collection labeled "Crayon" unfortunately does not boot up as a working game, or dump as a functional ROM. My ROM dumper will not even recognize a game as being inserted. What can be done? If you have prototypes and early builds dump them before the data might decay!

This Genesis Prototype/Development Cart Contains...Gley Lancer!!?? DrBizz 2022-05-01 | When I first threw this prototype/development cart in my Sega Genesis I was not expecting what happened, for a Japanese exclusive shooter to load which I had never even heard of. It checks out as the retail "Gley Lancer", a fantastic shoot 'em up both rare and expensive. I dive into the story and speculate that it could have been a sample, demo or gift sent to someone here in California due to the scenario that someone destroying a retail MegaDrive copy to play on a North American Genesis being unlikely. It's definitely a retail PCB and ROM chip on the board, but it still doesn't answer the question of how it ended up taking the place of a development ROM board. A strange find for the collection indeed!

Playing NES Ninja Turtles With My Brother In 1991 DrBizz 2022-04-02 | For those of us that grew up in the 90's, we all know how special of a time it was for video games and have fond memories of playing them with our friends and family. In 1991, my Dad had the presence of mind to capture this family moment of me an my baby brother playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Manhattan Project with his VHS video recorder. Halo 2 Mod - Miranda Keyes & Lord Hood Allies on Metropolis DrBizz 2022-02-26 | I replaced the male and female marines at the start of Metropolis with an upgrade, invincible Miranda Keyes and Lord Hood bipeds! Also a funny side effect of swapping the biped tags is that Lord Hood is now every marine in the cutscene apparently, and it actually works quite well with correct mouth movements acting out Sarge's dialog.
Halo 2 - Cairo Station Cutscene Room Speedrun in 8 Minutes (no skulls or mods!) DrBizz 2022-02-02 | I just wanted to have some fun and show that the Cairo Station Cutscene Room Hangar C-01 can be accessed in less than 10 minutes using the "player merge" glitch which also results in the dead and alive once the player pair dies. For all those years, people didn't know a way into the hangar and now it's quickly and easily possible with no mods, no skulls, and very little skill.Thanks to Monopoli, Harc, and LDG for various things relating to the player merge, AUP, and dead and alive glitches.Enjoy!

Halo 2 Xbox Mod - Disable The Attract Intro Movie DrBizz 2021-12-18 | Simple trick here to disable the annoying "attract" intro movie that plays on the main menu. Halo 2 Xbox - Main Menu Music Mod Follow Halo Theme + No Blue Filter DrBizz 2021-12-17 | I got tired of the somber and dreary stock main menu, so I removed the blue filter using Menu Menu Menu, and changed the music so it's the intro to "Follow, 1st Movement of the Odyssey" from the Halo 2 soundtrack using Main Menu Music. Halo 2 Mod - Outskirts - Everybody Has A Scarab Gun DrBizz 2021-12-14 | What's better than an army of invincible Marines with Scarab Guns? Nothing.Interesting fact, when the AI receives the actual handheld scarab gun through modding they won't fire it. I had to manually swap the weapon meta offsets to the plasma rifle and change it's properties to match the handheld scarab gun. Enjoy!

Halo 2 Mod - Single Player Shared Map (loading inside the room!) DrBizz 2021-11-10 | A strange map called "Single Player Shared" can be accessed by changing the name of the map file itself to a normally used map name. In this example I change it to "Midship" then load into it during multiplayer, both with one and two players. The map is somehow used by the single player campaign maps and contains most of the bipeds, character models and vehicles normally seen and used. Also, a functioning health pack is in the room!
Halo 2 Mod - Flying A Pelican High Charity (permanent save, non-modded xbox!) DrBizz 2021-10-31 | This video is a look at how I am making modded saves that can be imported and used on a stock Halo 2 game without soft mods on the xbox. The basic rule of thumb is that if you only use a vehicle, objects or anything else that normally exists in the map you will be fine and the modded save will load with the stock game.

Halo 2 Mod - Delta Halo Space Cutscene BSP Overlap & Blue Cube Mystery DrBizz 2021-10-12 | The intro space cutscene BSP of Delta Halo happens to overlap with the first BSP area, making it possible to hit some of the volume triggers during the mission floating in space! I force loaded the BSP instead of the first area through mods but all the triggers of the normal mission load normally in place. Enemies fall to their deaths, vehicles spawn and drop all the way to the map floor, and various other hilarity ensues. The bridge is intact and functioning as well. There is also a mysterious blue cube in the bottom corner of the map, possibly having something to do with the graphics in the cutscene maybe?

Halo 2 Mod - High Charity Unused Area Exploration (Structure BSP #8) DrBizz 2021-09-16 | This video is a mod to go inside an additional unused structure BSP area during High Charity and explore. In addition to the famous cut warthog run area, there was also this area where it appears Bungie started to place dead enemies and weapons on the ground, but it seems they changed their minds and went another route, using the BSP known in the final build. Many components are the same in regards to structure like the prophets private quarters, "inner sanctum". In the game code I found a volume trigger that would have loaded to exit out of it to the next area. This area happens to be the exact same BSP used during the Sacred Icon intro cutscne as well! I explore the hidden room behind the wall in the main circular room (thanks to Harc for the tip for this!) and I also found a platform outside the walls of the normal area in the void. This area screams BETA and unfinished, a strange find indeed. In the High Charity map files the BSP is called "forerunnership\high_8".
Halo 2 Mod - Sacred Icon Cutscene Area Mystery Gravity Throne & Exploration DrBizz 2021-09-09 | I loaded into the Sacred Icon intro cinematic BSP area to explore and there is a gravity throne sitting in the main circular room where the Prophets talk with the Arbiter. Also I did a tour with the throne to explore and uncover a larger amount of the structure not used or seen during the cutscene. Enjoy!
Halo 2 Mod - High Charity Warthog Run Area Exploration DrBizz 2021-09-06 | An in-depth look into the famous cut warthog run area on High Charity. I explore on foot and with other vehicles including a suped up gravity throne. The structure BSP for the area normally exists in the game code but there is no trigger to load it. My work around for this was to alter the volume trigger hit in the first grav lift to change the BSP to the warthog one, and then change the X,Y,Z coordinates for the teleportation to be at the spot it appears the warthog run would have started.
Halo 2 Mod - Outskirts Intro Cinematic City Streets Exploration DrBizz 2021-09-03 | Exploring the streets of Old Mombasa with mods. I change the starting location to be in the map and also change which map is loading when the level starts. This map and the intro map where the pelicans fly over the city are stacked on top of each other and actually part of the same BSP. I looked for the REX sword easter egg but it isn't there, the buildings are just the same geometry.
Halo 2 Mod - Flying A Pelican Outskirts Cinematic Intro Map BSP DrBizz 2021-08-31 | This video contains 4 mods to make this possible. Changing the magnum's projectile to be the pelican, changing the pelican itself so Master Chief can fly it, changing the X,Y,Z coordinates of the starting location to be in the BSP structure, and changing the BSP structure that loads when you start the level. DrBizz 2021-08-24 | Nightmare fuel.Original softmooded Xbox.I swapped the Brutes with Flood Juggernauts and after getting a checkpoint and making a save, I return to load the save with the stock High Charity map. The game applies Brute attributes to the existing Flood Juggernauts loaded into the map and this is the result.Program used = Dot Halo.
Metroid NES - Above Lift Room Glitch + Justin Bailey Code DrBizz 2021-08-16 | Here I show the famous JUSTIN BAILEY code and also glitch above the lift room that you spawn in after using the code with the "door jump" glitch. Shoot the door open, stand in it and after it closes you can rapidly press up and down to glitch upwards through the map. Make sure you always end on pressing UP or else you will get stuck in a ball inside the map! Press jump to lift the screen to follow you. Once you reach the top you are trapped in a closed space above the room.
MCC: Halo 2 - Gravemind - No In Amber Clad Overload Glitch DrBizz 2020-07-06 | Simple overload trick here, In Amber Clad won't show up or you only get the slip space rupture graphic if the available amount of RAM is correct. I was hoping IAC would be a banshee piloted by an AI character and maybe you could overload to crash it, and flip it around on the bottom of the map but it looks like it's basically a flying building.
Halo 2 MCC : High Charity - Dead & Alive Tutorial & Physics Of Respawning DrBizz 2020-06-21 | Hi folks, 14 grueling minutes of the Dead & Alive tutorial for High Charity at the start of the map, but I also dive into the complex and baffling physics of respawning a little bit more. MCC: Halo 2 - Dead & Alive Glitch Tutorial on Uprising DrBizz 2020-04-10 | Here it is, a technical explanation of the mysterious and elusive "dead and alive" glitch seen only with extremely rare examples early on in Halo 2's release over 15 years ago. I reproduced it on Great Journey and with Harc The Shark and LDG's help, we have come to understand it with great depth.When the game respawns a player in co-op, an invisible pre-loaded "biped" is placed in a certain location on the map we've called the "default spawn location" and then instantly teleported to the living player for eventual respawn and normal gameplay. What happens when the preloaded player is killed is interesting, the game has already decided to place the player control into that biped so even when it has died, the player's control is put into it anyway and you end up being alive in a dead body.The reason understanding this glitch was so sought after is because your partner can respawn with the dead and alive player, so the corpse can be moved to many normally unreachable and inaccessible areas for exploration and fun. Sputnik, Black Eye, Feather and Bandana are great skulls to add playing on MCC to get checkpoints with the dead and alive player, and add the ability to launch and move him far and wide.Many of my older videos show using this glitch to explore new and impossible places. Stay tuned for more interesting effects with the physics of respawning, and more tutorials for creating the dead and alive for yourself!
MCC: Halo 2 - Playing As Sergeant Johnson on Cairo Station AUP DrBizz 2020-03-22 | With Harc's help, I was able to setup an AUP to become Sergeant Johnson on Cairo Station. Some very bizarre effects with this, being able to be smashed into the geometry or "void" of the station by the MAC gun loader, only to remain alive and stuck forever. He's impervious to kill volumes or the fall death as well of course, so the exploration is literally limitless. I also found some strange animation glitches and that Sarge can hold 4 weapons at once. What else can you say...being Sarge is AWESOME!Thanks to Mister Monopoli. MCC: Halo 2 - Cairo Station - Playing As A Bugger AUP DrBizz 2020-02-08 | Cool accomplishment to be the bugger (Drone) inside the lift room on Cairo Station, but unfortunately it will deload when you exit the room, leaving it impossible for now to freely fly around in space outside the station. Very special thanks to LDG for predicting a long time ago that overloading to stop anything from loading might make the AUP possible farther in the levels. That definitely works.
MCC: Halo 2 - Playing As A Sentinel Tutorial on Sacred Icon AUP DrBizz 2020-01-26 | One of the early ideas I had once the AUP was discovered and I was finally able to do it, and here is the updated tutorial for a solid method of becoming a sentinel on Sacred Icon without mods!Here are some tips for the setup.Skulls used are Sputnik, Black Eye, Bandana and Boom.Do everything as quickly as you can.Make sure the dead Arbiter bodies do not fall of the ledge at any point.Don't blow up the sentinel factories when you kill the sentinel and yourself.At the start, blow up all 3 of the constructors that shoot BEFORE they shoot with one well placed frag grenade.Next grenade needs to take out the grunt before he starts shooting.Switch to a plasma and grenade jump into the pinch spot.With the other player, stick the next sentinel that spawns without it shooting at you and make sure you die with it in the ensuing explosion. Use active camo so it's easier.Restart once the pinch is set BEFORE the 2nd sentinel spawns.On the second session, repeat setups 1 and 2.Throw the plasma in the corner to keep the object count consistent and wait for the first sentinel.Stick the sentinel and die in the explosion again.Now, have the living player delay the partner respawn by jumping and melee. When you hear the second sentinel spawn, stop the delay and if done correctly you'll possess the sentinel.
MCC: Halo 2 - Playing As A Sentinel on Sacred Icon AUP DrBizz 2020-01-20 | Here is a fun video I made with my setup to spawn as a Sentinel right at the beginning of Sacred Icon and explore the map. The Sentinel deloads unfortunately after the gondola has been activated and it seems to be a scripted "garbage cleanup" that's impossible to get around. The first clip is a raw take of the setup and spawning as the Sentinel first try. I can work on a more detailed tutorial if people want. Skulls used are Bandana, Sputnik, Boom and Scarab.
MCC: Halo 2 - Cairo Station - Player Merge Drop Into Hangar C-01 (cutscene room) DrBizz 2020-01-11 | For everyone that has ever gotten smashed in the MAC gun loader in the bomb room on Cairo Station, and saw their dead body land into the cutscene room, this is a dream come true to respawn alive in there after doing it. This was the first thing me and LDG wanted to do when the player merge glitch was discovered, so a fun video of going into the famous room shown in the E3 video promo of Halo 2 was bound to happen.
