Nao - Hoshizora Nao 2011-07-07 | "Starry Sky" It's been awhile, but after hearing about my uncle passing away a week ago I wanted to make something to honor him. This piece depicts more of my curiosity towards the idea of death. As a kid, I always wondered where people went after they had passed. And for a good while, believed that their souls became stars to light the sky up during the night.

Took me a good half a day or so to complete this. Haru Kaze, or "Spring Wind", felt appropriate as a title for this piece mostly due to the fact that it's currently Spring, but i also feel that Spring represents a beginning of many things. So this being my first serious work, it's appropriate in that sense.
