The project involved a central nervous system (CNS) simulator that covers a range of neurological disease symptoms, states, and treatments, focusing on Otsuka’s three main therapeutic areas within their neurology pipeline: Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and Bipolar Disorder.
The purpose of the microsite was to develop an easy-to-use, intuitive platform for training healthcare professionals (HCPs).
The content produced for this disease simulator includes:

• Interactive disease progression timelines with call-out features
• Content surrounding; burden of disease, societal cost/impact diagnosis, including clinical assessment scales for diagnosis, symptoms, and comorbidities, stigma, recovery, and relapse

Our new showreel showcases some of the most impactful and dramatic scientific imagery, illustrating numerous diseases and pathways down to the cellular level. The animation was commissioned to support Cytovia’s investor relations activities, ensuring potential investors could understand and visualize the science behind this concept.

The creation of this video was made possible due to Random42 receiving an Epic MegaGrant towards the end of 2020. This was used to enhance our medical animation and interactive capabilities utilising Epic Games’ Unreal Engine; the world’s most open and advanced real-time 3D creation tool.

This medical animation explores the mechanism of action, showing how this NSAID targets key steps in inflammatory cascades. Channel News Asia (CNA) produced a three-part informative documentary series entitled, “Disease Hunters”, which brings to life the storytelling behind deadly diseases, covering infectious viral, bacterial and Mosquito-Borne diseases.
Random42 created a series of scientific animations to support the scientific content of the documentary. These animations feature throughout the three episodes and aim to help viewers visualize the science, encourage a more in-depth understanding, and provide a documentary experience of the highest cinematographic quality.

We produced this animation for GammaDelta Therapeutics to explore Gamma delta T-cells and their ability to kill cancers. The animation captures the unique and powerful characteristics of Gamma delta T-cells and their use in allogeneic therapy to target tumour cells without harming healthy cells.

Nanotextured surfaces, like PEEKplus®, are known to improve osseointegration. Vallum’s Accelerated Neutral Atom Beam (ANAB) process superimposes 20-50 nanometer concavities directly into the surface of PEEK.
The objective of the animation was to clearly demonstrate the effect of ANAB processing technology on PEEK at the micro and nanoscale and visually communicate how the cavities created in PEEK promote osseointegration.
The animation has been embedded within Vallum’s website homepage, with assets from the animation utilized for banner imagery throughout the website, giving a consistent visual brand identity.
The Merck Manuals were first published in 1899 as a small reference book for physicians and pharmacists. The Manual grew in size and scope to become one of the world's most widely used comprehensive medical resources for professionals and consumers. As the Manual evolved, Merck realized the need to modernize the approach in order to engage their target audience.
To support the current assets, a series of 17 educational, biological animations were developed for the Merck Manuals Consumer website and YouTube Channel. The animations covered a variety of medical topics and were aimed at a target market of consumers with limited previous knowledge of the areas covered. With this target audience in mind, the messages were kept clear, concise and easy to understand. The ‘Intro to the Human Body’ animation has over 11,000 views and the complete collection of 17 videos has over 20,000 views on YouTube alone.
The animation was created for the BerkeleyLife.com website and for trade use in the US market. The purpose was to engage and inform the audience of the benefits of Nitric Oxide for cardiovascular wellness and the science behind how this works within the body.
Lastly, the mechanism of action (MoA) of selective inhibitor of the immunoproteasome, KZR-616, is explained and how it induces a potent anti-inflammatory effect, resulting in symptom improvement and disease remission in Rheumatoid Arthritis, lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, and Inflammatory bowel disease.
The purpose of the animation was to provide a visual explanation of the normal function, disease state and MoA of KZR-616 in a comprehensive and engaging manner so that the science and subsequent beneficial outcomes can be clearly understood by the appropriate target audiences.

This animation highlights these problems, revealing the variability of chemotherapy preparation and the potential health risks to healthcare workers. In doing so, the animation showcases the ease of use and advanced safety benefits of INFUGEM compared to other chemotherapy products.

We created a mechanism of action (MoA) animation showing the effects of APOQUEL on canine allergic itch and inflammation at a molecular level. This demonstrates how APOQUEL works differently to steroids, thus preventing the side effects associated with steroids and improving the quality of life of the affected dog.
The animation appears on the Zoetis APOQUEL product page where it is used to educate animal health care providers about the benefits of treating canine allergic itch and inflammation with APOQUEL.
