[YTP] The Polar Express Game: The Musical - Scrooge fails to sabotage The Polar Express The British YTPer 2021-08-01 | After a week of work, here is my second YTP of a game, and I think it is a huge improvement over the Baldi's Basics YTP I did back in 2018, which had missed potential, used a style I regret using and overall, felt like my most overrated YTP in my opinion. I was very happy to see that this YTP did not have the same fate as the Baldi's Basics YTP. Also, unlike my Baldi's Basics YTP, I did not record my own gameplay, I edited some gameplay recorded by FirstPlays HD since I had some issues when I tried to record my own.There are a lot more musical sections in this YTP than average, hence why I put "The Musical" in the title... xDAlso, while I was re-watching the YTP to check for issues, some parts legitimately crept me out, mainly 3:23 - 3:32Context about the game that's important to this YTP - In the actual game, there are three types of cutscenes: clips from the actual movie, pre-rendered cutscenes using the in-game models and cutscenes processed in real-time. The pre-rendered cutscenes and most of the clips from the movie are at 29.97fps (besides one clip from the movie, which is at 25fps) and are in 480p, while the frame rate of the cutscenes processed in real-time is the same as your computer screen's refresh rate and the quality depends on the resolution choice when you configure the game. I've edited the cutscenes and the gameplay footage at their respective frame rates and their respective aspect ratios. Also, the actual game runs at 4:3 and, to my knowledge, there isn't a way to change the aspect ratio, only the resolution.
