Russian fireworks display in the USA. It was a great display set to music and featured colors that I hadn't really seen in fireworks before. Unfortunately my old school camcorder fails to pick up the subtle colors and things tend to look washed out; but be sure to check out the larger 12" shells later on, they show up the best.

24 inch shell at the 1991 PGI convention DigitalNeohuman 2010-09-15 | Here is footage of the infamous 24 inch shell that few ended up seeing at the 1991 PGI convention. Following it is a comment sheet of what members thought about it the next day. This was posted at the host hotel. It was actually a beautiful shell but it was fired from what seemed like 3 miles away; most people weren't even looking in the right direction. It looked to me like a small consumer artillery shell from where I was sitting. I filmed this off a large TV monitor on Friday night at the host hotel after the public display. I believe a local TV station had originally shot this.

Old school Amiga CG from 1991 DigitalNeohuman 2010-05-16 | Here is a collection of some looping animations and pictures I did on my old Amiga 2000. These go back to 1991 and earlier. The animations were done in Imagine, Turbo Silver, and one in LightWave 3D 1.0, and the resulting images were processed through DCTV at somewhere around 736 X 482 resolution in "millions of colors" and the resulting animation files were played back in real time on the Amiga and recorded directly on Hi8 tape. The pictures were mainly done in Imagine, with a few Turbo Silver and Sculpt 3D images thrown in for good measure. This is all that remains since the hard drive in my Amiga 2000 is dead and my old floppy disks are full of errors. Such is life.

I pick while using the volume knob to swell the note. My old 1982 analog Morley echo-chorus-vibrato foot pedal provided the echo. The guitar is a 1981 Stratocaster. I was fortunate enough at the time to find several of the filming locations and brought my trusty camcorder along with. I haven't seen this footage in 14 years.Some of the filming locations in Minnesota include: Minneapolis, Edina, Mall of America, and St Paul. Trivia: normally in April, Minnesota still has at least some snow on the ground and the average temperature is in the 40's. Unexpectedly, at the time of filming, there was no snow and highs reached into the low 70's.
