I FIXED the T598 Disconnecting Issue for Almost Nothing! Honest Rob 2026-08-27 | 🔧 Need a hot glue gun for this fix? Grab one here: amzn.to/4gmpgxVHow to stop Thrustmaster T598 disconnect problem, T598 disconnecting, T598 disconnection issue and T598 connection problems - I may have finally found a simple fix! In this video I show how I used a hot glue gun to prevent the T598 power connector from moving and causing random disconnects. This solution is also fully reversible.The Thrustmaster T598 can disconnect during racing, particularly with the intense vibration and force feedback from the Direct Drive wheel. I show the simple modification I made to secure the connector and then secured the cable to my racing rig to prevent constant pulling on the connection.So far, the T598 has stopped disconnecting, and the whole fix costs almost nothing. The amount of heat this powerful gaming PC produces is a very different experience compared with a console, especially during the summer. And coming from PlayStation, the lack of a proper equivalent to Rest Mode has been surprisingly frustrating when it comes to game downloads and updates.I've also been discovering the advantages of PC gaming that I didn't fully appreciate when I bought the machine - better graphics and performance, access to Xbox games and PC exclusives, an enormous back catalogue of older games, and games that can look dramatically better when running on modern PC hardware.This is my honest first month of PC gaming after 40 years on consoles, using an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC.Is PC gaming actually better?
