This has a different placement of scales, so we concentrate on deliberately planning out our scale use and developing fluency going between scales and sides of the rule.
The Aristo Studio 0968 is a $20-30 slide rule that features both the B scale and the K scale on the slide, as well has having a P scale for cosines and advanced functions. It is a thick plastic slide rule with a large cursor and a really good feel in the hand and is one of my favorites.

A slide rule is a mechanical calculator which was the defining characteristic of the mid-20th Century engineer. While it is a very useful tool, allowing us to visualize the relationship between numbers, it does have a drawback- accuracy.
A standard slide rule is accurate to 3 significant digits. Advanced slide rules such as the Faber Castell N 2/83 can be pushed to 4 digits, as can 20 inch slide rules.
