This restoration was a passion project and I wanted restore each one the original sources for each scene. The song playing during the zoom out is constructed from both versions of the workprint Williams and Calvert. Spooky 1860s VR! Hell in 3D Diableries Devils & Skeletons Adam Maciaszek 2022-10-29 | Presenting The Diableries a French stereoview collection of 72 hand-tinted color 3d photos into a whole fantasy world of hell populated with demons devils and skeletons. Feel free to stop any of the pictures for a longer look. A lot of love went into perfecting this presentation of sterteoview card art and I would love to work more in the future with more stereoviews. This was a really fun project to work on and VR can breath new life and expose this beautiful art collection to a modern audience. Although nothing can quite compare to seeing it through a stereoview. So revolutionary many who saw this thought he had tamed insects and filmed them. This was remastered aided by ai both in upscaling before editing the video and in mild colorization. The mild colorization is done since it is much more consistent in its colorization and distracts less with random colors popping in and out.

I find this brings even more attention to wonderfully smooth hand drawn animation especially the Cab Calloway song St James Infirmary Blues and its wonderful rotoscope animation.
