Kaz decides to follow in his parent's footsteps and asks them to help him find a bride through an assisted marriage, a contemporary approach to a traditional arranged Pakistani marriage. Zoe sets out to make a documentary which takes the characters from England to Pakistan and back as she tries to determine if love is really needed to make a perfect match. The script is written by Jemima Khan, inspired by her marriage to legendary cricketer Imran Khan and her time living in Lahore. The film is directed by multi-BAFTA-winning director Shekhar Kapur in a comedy-drama that proves love can be complicated no matter the language we speak.

Crawdads Interview by Irish journalist Cara O'Doherty
Given her iconic role in the original 1970’s classic, actress Jenny Agutter has come to terms with her cultural footprint playing Bobbie Waterbury over the years, as ‘The Railway Children’ fanbase continues to grow with each new generation. The highly acclaimed film currently enjoys a score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes review site and appears in multiple lists claiming it to be one of the greatest British film of all time.
Having made the film at the age of seventeen, Agutter had enjoyed the success of its release in 1970 and moved to America to pursue work. There the film had not had as much resonance as with UK audiences, and when she returned home after seventeen years she was blindsided by the level of affection for the movie. The Railway Children Return from director Morgan Matthews also stars Tom Courtenay, John Bradley, and an exciting young cast including KJ Aidens (Abe), Beau Gadsdon (Lily), & Austen Haynes (Thomas) , Zac Cudby (Ted), & Eden Hamilton (Pattie) who follow in the footsteps of the original Railway Children from the 1970's.
The Railway Children Return is now showing in Irish cinemas across Ireland. Video interview by Irish journalist Cara O'Doherty for Irish film website http://www.Movies.ie - visit the site for more movie news, interviews, competitions, and fun movie features
THE BELOVED NOVEL ‘THE RAILWAY CHILDREN’ BY E. NESBITT WAS FAMOUSLY ADAPTED BACK IN 1970 FOR A FILM STARRING JENNY AGUTTER AND BERNARD CRIBBINS. THE HUGELY POPULAR FILM WAS A BOX OFFICE SENSATION THAT CURRENTLY HOLDS A 100% RATING ON ROTTEN TOMATOES.
The story followed a family forced to move to the countryside after a scandal involving their patriarch and live a much more modest lifestyle. The three children, led by eldest daughter Bobbie (Agutter), were particularly fond of visiting the railway line and getting to know regular passengers and staff on it.
Now, years later Jenny Agutter is back as Bobbie, with children and grandchildren of her own and they’re ready for all-new adventures in a brand new sequel arriving into Irish cinemas this summer.

Welcome to Six Mile Hill, a sleepy Irish backwater whose only claim to fame is the somewhat dubious local legend that Bram Stoker once spent a night in the local pub. When a personal tragedy forces Eugene to go and work for his gruff, no-nonsense father he finds himself on the site of a controversial new road development that threatens to destroy the town’s livelihood. But strange events unfold when Eugene and the crew tear down a famous cairn believed to be the final resting place of Abhartach and they soon come under attack from a sinister force that has infected one of their workmates. As the night closes in The Boys must fight for survival while discovering the true horror of a myth that hits much closer to home than any of them realise…

"Well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into!"[
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are widely regarded as the greatest comedy partnership in movie history. Between 1927 and 1950, they made over 107 film appearances (32 silent short films, 40 sound shorts, 23 features, 12 cameos), defining the notion of the double act with infectious chemistry and hilarious routines that seemed effortless but were honed down to the finest detail. The pair were part of the very few silent stars to survive and thrive in the sound era, adding wordplay to their comedy mastery, “You can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be led,” quips Stan in BRATS.
Their influence goes way beyond cold stats and film buff analysis having amassed a huge and devoted international fan base, three museums and an appreciation society, Sons Of The Desert. Beloved the world over - in Germany, they are Dick Und Doof, in Poland Flip I Flap, in Brazil O Gordo e o Magro - they are a gateway to comedy, a passport to a world of sublime silliness and everlasting friendship. Whether you know them from TV reruns, cartoon adaptations or a Twitter gif, just to hear their theme tune, The Cuckoo Song, is not only a guaranteed smile, it's a time machine to a more innocent age. People admire Chaplin, sit in awe of Buster Keaton but they love Laurel and Hardy. There is a hardly a comedian alive who hasn’t been influenced by Laurel and Hardy, their reach is long.
ABOUT THE MOVIE
Laurel & Hardy, the world's favorite comedy double act, set out on a variety hall tour of Britain in 1953. Diminished by age and with their golden era as the kings of Hollywood comedy now behind them, they face an uncertain future. As they start crisscrossing the country, attendances are disappointingly low. But they've always been able to make each other laugh and as the charm and beauty of their performances shines through their audiences laugh too, and they re-connect with legions of adoring fans, old and new.
The tour becomes a hit, but Stan & Ollie can't quite shake the spectre of Laurel and Hardy’s past; and long buried ghosts, coupled with Oliver's failing health, start to threaten their precious partnership. A portrait of the most tender and poignant of creative marriages begins to unfold as the duo, aware that they may be approaching their swan song, try to rediscover just how much they mean to each other.

Official summary of DUNKIRK : Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire, Canada, and France are surrounded by the German army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.
Official Summary
A has-been actor, known for playing British detective Mindhorn, works alongside the police to catch a serial killer who will only speak to Mindhorn, whom he believes to be real.Barratt plays Richard Thorncroft, a grotesque has-been actor who back in the early 80s, resplendent with the handsomeness of a young Lewis Collins, had his moment of fame playing a TV cop called Mindhorn. This was a tough officer who was subjected to a bionic-style experiment: his left eye was removed and replaced with a hi-tech scanner set into an old-fashioned eyepatch – allowing him to beam supersonically into anyone’s mind and see through criminal lies.
His roistering adventures came to an end when the series was cancelled – and he managed to insult every cast member and everyone on the Isle of Man, where the show was set, on an ill-judged appearance on Wogan before heading off to LA where he assumed Hollywood fame was the natural next step.
But it never worked out and in 2016 the poor sap is now an unemployed, overweight, middle-aged actor living in a north London bedsit with his memories, his hairpiece (time has taken its toll on the luxurious mane) and his extensive collection of Mindhorn memorabilia. He has been fired from a TV ad for orthopaedic socks and replaced with John Nettles. His beautiful onscreen/offscreen flame Patricia Deville (Essie Davis) from those days is still in the Isle of Man, employed as a local TV journalist, happily married to a man who was once Thorncroft’s stuntman. To add to his humiliation and despair, an absurdly minor character from the show, played by Steve Coogan, became a huge success with a spinoff.

The Scottish music documentary features Stuart Braithwaite, Stewart Henderson, Alex Kapranos and many other Scottish musicians.
