Why You Should Take the CPA Exam. COLORMIND. 2022-08-10 | Tayo talks about his experience with an exam 95% will never need to know about in their lifetimes. Q: Are you a good exam taker? Why?7:15 edit: I realize what I said here is a little bit of an oversimplification. There are Blueprints that the AICPA provides that tells you what is testable, and if you learn *all* of that; you would be aptly prepared. But that's not really feasible and we all understand that. What I was trying to highlight is more the "lottery nature" of the exam and how that's clashes with a 75 being a score that "doesn't change over time." That's confusing to me bc I could take an exam that doesn't test me on entire concepts (like Deferred Taxes or Fixed Asset Accounting) but the public would assume that I have a good understanding of these areas (since I have my CPA) and I would be quickly hired on that assumption alone. I get that that's likely how most exams work, I'm saying there's probably a better way (like certs for targeted areas of accounting, apprenticeships idk I have mine that's yall problem the CPA is PERFECT and I LOVE AICPA :)
