One Thing After Another...RV Life at the United Rally Campin With The Confers 2026-03-31 | Ever have one of those trips where it’s just… one thing after another? 😅That was this one.We’re heading to the United Rally in West Palm Beach, Florida, ready for fun, community, and sunshine—but before we even get there, things start going sideways. From there, we head to Ouabache State Park Campground in Bluffton, Indiana, a quiet and underrated Indiana State Park that surprised us in the best way.After arriving, Mike shares an important RV power tip you should always check before setting up at a campground. Then it’s time to explore—starting with a hike to a nearby bison reserve, where we debate one very important question… what sound does a bison actually make? 🦬Next, Shelley faces her fear of heights by climbing a historic fire tower—in high winds. It sways, nerves kick in, but the sunset view from the top made it completely worth it.We show you our Ouabache State Park campsite, and believe it or not, we had the entire campground to ourselves. The next day, we head into Bluffton, Indiana for coffee, breakfast, and local shopping before taking on the CCC Challenge Course—a 5-mile hike with a picture scavenger hunt and fascinating history. Motorhome heat FAIL! Emergency Warranty Repair Before Winter Hits Campin With The Confers 2025-12-09 | Our motorhome dash heat failed… and with winter knocking on the door, that’s not something you want to mess around with.So we packed up, hit the road after dark, and made an emergency trip to the Holiday Rambler / REV Group service center in Decatur, Indiana to get this fixed before the cold really settles in.A couple weeks ago on our Pennsylvania trip, we realized the front heat was blowing nothing but cold air. After some troubleshooting over FaceTime with a Holiday Rambler tech (thanks, Mike’s “wiggle the thingamajig” method only got us so far…), it was clear this needed a real service bay and real tools.
