This is actually our second solo kill of O4S, because I'm incredibly smart and forgot to record the first one. Getting to i588 this week was the last little push we needed to beat enrage.
The main danger here is Emptiness, since a damage down is absolutely a no-go at this gear level, and while ya *can* technically eat an Antilight and live with a bunch of mit up, it's a lot easier to just not stand in the giant laser in the first place. Slightly less dangerous are Grand Cross Alpha, which has the amazing power to make ya forget that Delta Attack is coming every single time, and Meteor, which was mostly a case of us figuring out how to clear the DPS check properly.
Current best on Neo is 14% with a couple of damage downs, so it should definitely be possible on SGE within the current tier.
Played in Japanese because, for some reason, the menus load faster than when playing in English.

It's the Berserker King, there's really not much to say about this one.
Just a simple tank and spank really. Stab, heal, raise an army of clones, rinse and repeat.
Anyway, yeah. Titanic Monarch Act 1 without getting hit. Hardest part was the electricity poles, because I kept jumping headfirst into them. I am not a smart woman.
This battle hinged entirely on me binding Baldur's arms during Ignition so that Overdrive wouldn't go off. The only alternative was Geo Impact, and thanks to Ivy Thrust taking off 320 HP unmitigated, I needed all the Calm Breath charges I could get.
I also forgot to reapply Charm Eye several times, which meant Speed Boost saved my neck more than once when it came to badly timed Ivy Thrusts.
...Is not a phrase anybody has ever said.
I uh... hit it a lot and it eventually died, I guess?
Only real threat in this fight is Shock Drive, and Shadow Cloak deals nicely with that (making sure to keep at least 3 Burst charges ready in order to Aegis Ward the Vanguard one). Nothing else to really say, thanks to the Slash Charm and Aurora Veil.
Only real danger here was running out of TP, since it doesn't use non-fire attacks often enough for healing to be a significant problem.
Also, I kinda, uh... killed him so hard that I completely skipped Endure, which I didn't even know was possible. Presumably it was a side effect of the Blood Surge + poison damage?
Main issue here is Arcanist's terrible HP. Hood Circle solved that cleanly enough, though. And to nobody's surprise, Snare Circle was mandatory so that I could actually reliably hit her instead of pouring all my TP down the drain exploding thin air.
Forges on the knife are LUC/LUC/TEC/TEC, since I wasn't exactly planning on stabbing anything with it anyway.
Anyway, guess I ran circles round her.
So here's the first part of Etrian Odyssey IV: The World of Recycled Vessel.
He bearly stood a chance, really.
Egg form I deliberately attacked during MACV so that my HP would be as low as possible in case Venom Curse fell off a turn early.
I was in panic mode for pretty much the entire form 2 fight after the first Dance, since having the Satellites summoned there really hurts, thanks to being nearly dead from Dance, plus TP constraints. Got really lucky with the miss there.

I actually had something else planned for this, but it didn't pan out. Perhaps in a different video.
Also nearly killed myself by fat fingering Defend.
As for why I used Sarutobi at the end there, I'm an idiot who forgot that Critical Break is Almighty damage. But I dodged it anyway, so all's well that ends well, right?
The main thing that has stymied Ur-Child solo attempts in the day is Begone. It's just not possible to keep up enough damage /and/ healing to kill it before you explode.
That is, unless you use Painless. With a Protector, there are 3 major threats in the fight:
The melee version of Hymn: Even with Fortify up, this hits for 900~ damage, meaning you have to heal from the previous Sacrifice damage, and heal immediately after it.
Boast: If the first Boast inflicts sleep on you, Obey is probably going to kill you. If the second inflicts Confuse, you'll just die to Anger instead.
Wildance: The biggest threat of the fight. 2 separate ways of instantly killing you, plus Confuse, which being 2 turns before Begone is also likely to kill you, plus Paralysis, which, well, almost got me killed.
The confuse from Boast and Wildance was mostly dealt with by using a Bug Piece, but that meant I couldn't prevent Wildance's Petrify or Death, since I couldn't exactly take off my armour and shield. This meant that the biggest challenge was surviving 12 uses of Wildance, which essentially boils down to, well, massive amounts of luck.
If you're wondering how many attempts this took me, the answer is "Far too many."
And one final note: I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE WILDANCE.
This... took a while. Thanks to Rising Claw, and being forced to deal with the 3 elemental spells, Yggdroids don't get enough breathing space to set up their bots and deal with Abyssal Offering's healing. So I had to come up with a plan B: Fighting it in its enraged state through RNG manipulation.
At roughly 40 turns, the God goes into attack mode permanently, at the cost of getting a huge boost to attack, accuracy, speed, and status infliction rates. (An enraged Chaos Tentacle is the fastest ability in the game, outspeeding even a 5/5 Rocket Jump). Normally fighting it in this state would be suicidal... but.
The RNG doesn't reseed itself when the game is soft reset (the most well known application of this being the Scylla exploit.) This meant I could find out what the God was going to do next, and react to it accordingly. Of course, even with that advantage in hand, it took a long time, as there are a lot of dead ends depending n moves you may have used several turns previously. (Two Chaos Tentacles in a row isn't remotely survivable without two Pierce Amulets, and that leaves you wide open for Demon Rage.) So in the end, it was just a matter of gradually figuring out the right path to eventually force the God to kill itself on my Prophecies.
Since I didn't want to go the cheese route of Tagen Battou, my original intent here was to set up all three bots, Shoot, rinse and repeat. Unfortunately, the amount of damage Progenitor puts out is way too high for this to actually work, and it required so many skill points that I was forced to neglect both HP Up and Virus Scanner, which came back to bite me when I took Thorn Cutters to the face, or got petrified by Death Thunder. So I decided to try a different tact, forging Volt onto a Keris and then letting my Yellow Bots do the heavy lifting.
Spine Blaze/Frozen Eye: Entirely unthreatening, other than trashing my bots. With the Yggdroid's innate bind immunity, and the fact that I wasn't doing much damage in the first place, their secondary effects were completely irrelevant, and my Wizard's Hat reduced their damage anyway.
Death Thunder: Between Infravision, Senpuku, and Virus Scanner, this was a lot less dangerous than it could have been. I did wear a Stone Charm, just in case, though.
Vine Rush: The abysmal accuracy on this mostly made it a free TP restore. Which immediately went into bringing back all the bots it just smashed.
Thorn Cutter: The most threatening move it had. Under Accumulate, it does over 600 damage, and Yggdroids have low enough speed that they can't be guaranteed to go first when using items, necessitating preemptive healing. Thankfully it didn't actually use it that much.
The major differences here that apply to this battle are that unpromoted classes can no longer equip Masamune, and Giant's Gloves no longer cast Saber, requiring a different method of dealing enough damage to take down Chaos before he casts Curaja, which is where the new function of the Giant's Gloves comes in.
