Guest Angela Pingel shares more about her variation of Martha Washington by Liz Porter. She picked a collection of Halloween prints in a color palette that was very different from the one Kelly chose. Starting on graph paper, she designed in two inch increments to make the math easier on herself. Angela always chooses one fabric that takes her a little out of her comfort zone, and she shares what fabric that is in this quilt. She then demonstrates how to fussy cut from a large scale print for the center patch of her on-point blocks and how to cut her directional corner prints to finish out the block.
