Chandra X-ray Observatory | Quick Look: Telescopes Show the Milky Way's Black Hole is Ready for a Kick @ChandraXray | Uploaded 8 months ago | Updated 1 day ago
Astronomers found the giant black hole in the Milky Way is spinning very fast.

NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory and the VLA show that it is warping spacetime.

As the black hole spins, it pulls matter and spacetime with it.

This leads to the black hole looking more like an American football from some angles.
